Here it is! The 3 things I was able to make up during the #sewfrugal24 challenge. I felt like I was able to really take inspiration from one of my favorite ready to wear brands, Anthropologie, to recreate some really special items and it was all free! I didn't have to buy anything for these makes and if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen these already, but I go into more detail in this video and will better explain the drama 💅 Shout out to Ruan @theyorkshiresewgirl and Sam @Frugalisama for creating such a fun challenge! Ya'll are the best 🤗
First up is the Regular Hoodie by @GloryAllan that I converted into a raglan sleeve by using a tutorial from@PatternStudio101 The fabric used is a sweatshirt fabric from @MinervaDotCom and just scrap knit pieces from my stash and it may just be one of the best things I've made!
Second is a draft it yourself corset style top from @sparrowrefashion and this was really fun to make! It took a lot of concentration and math but I love a good challenge and I think the result says it all! The fabric used is an upholstery sample I got from a friend that I knew I had to have for some reason and I'm so happy with this piece!
Lastly, is The Flora Blouse by Mood Sewciety and the outcome is something I'm really proud of. I'm not sure how I stuck with it to get to the end but I'm glad I did because this is truly a wonderful blouse. The fabric is also from Mood and it is so lovely.
