Those initial albums are worth a small fortune. May I make one correction to what others have said in comments, ECM (Edition of Contemporary Music) is actually a German independent label founded by Manfred Eicher in Munich. I love almost all forms of music including jazz and collected a number of ECM albums. John Abercrombie was a superb versatile guitarist, died in 2017. Best album probably TIMELESS and the album you have dates from 1978.

Black Sabbath lps were more of a common sight at car boots many years ago but were always a little tired. They are more popular then ever now and a lot more collectable. It was easy to get the swirlys (apart from the poster MOR) for less than £25 20 years ago!

Great haul. That Cream Wheels of Fire is the single LP Live At The Fillmore version, no studio cuts. They were released separately as well as the double LP

Hi Vinyl Vault, cracking pick for your money mate, really good. The Blue Oyster Cult album is a double live album from 1975. This was when the band were starting to peak, from about then till 1981 when they released an album called Fire Of Unknown Origin which is a superb listen, worth getting for your own collection.Went to see them a tNewcastle City Hall a couple of years ago, they still have the magic.That live album is called On Your Feet Or On Your Knees by the way😊.

There is a 3m double sided tape that will repair the sleeves good as new

I should think the Bob Dylan is the first issue it came out in mono you had to order the stereo copy, but they used the same sleeves and put a sticker on it. Stereo records only arrived in earnest in the late 60s and early 70s, initially hindered by the fact radio stations didn't have the necessary equipment to play stereo recordings. By the mid-1970s, the majority of vinyl releases had shifted to stereo.

Word of warning:- those old 1960s poly-lined inner sleeves (seen inside the Cream LP here) are absolutely terrible, they can and do react with the vinyl and cause 'fogging' or 'bag rash' particularly if LP is left in storage for long periods. Swap it out for ANY other type of inner sleeve immediately!

I've never found a Kate bush whole story sleeve in clean condition ,it's always tarnished in some way or another

Another top video I use prit stick to re glue my covers.

I gave away my vinyl record collection to a charity. It included original mono recordings by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, David Bowie, etc. I suppose it would be worth quite a lot of money nowadays.

Nice collection you have there. Out of interest, I’m a CD collector rather than vinyl but is it worth going to the boot sales to seek out bargains for them? I tend to enjoy getting things pre year 2000. Any tips for someone in London (assuming you’re from around there of course)

This 'VG+' grading has been the go to grading for a number of years. I dont get it, to me VG+ is Excellent, as its better than VG. Similarly, EX- must be VG, and ive even seen EX+++, which must be better than mint. By the way, nice finds again.

Nice haul as always fella,always good to see some Floyd come out of the bag,the copy of Wish You Were Here is a UK third issues from the 1980s,its the only one with a barcode, they used the lacquers from the second issue for this one,the second was the better if the first two issues so give that one a spin it'll sound immense 👍🎶
