I enjoy your videos but have often wondered if they are setup. You do get alot of too good to be true stuff on a regular basis. As someone who has always frequented carboot sales I rarely come across the volume of good stuff that you do. Something about this video didn't quite sit well with me when you started talking about dust and conditions throughout. I'd like to be wrong and wish you best of luck with your future adventures.
All I will say is this, we see your vids of digging though car boot shite, you never film these so called amazing finds. Why?the dust gag was hilarious. Stop taking us for mugs.
A good independent shop would have given him £10+ for most of them in that condition. Not sure why he would sell them on a car boot for £2 each, very strange. Also, my shop has dustier sleeves than those. He must have 50k+ vinyl, he ain't cleaning that lot in a hurry, by himself. Why do you think people aren't believing your great hauls?
My mother once told me that only children should be jealous. I am nearly 60 and can't fight the feeling. I am happy for you. You deserve a gold strike every now and then. You are dedicated in what you do. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The positive comments are starting to come in now and I am grateful to everyone that takes the time to watch. All the best.
It is not surprising to see albums in such pristine condition if bought from a boot sale. The owners generally are casual listeners that amassed the collections in their teens and 20's and now in their 60's and 70's and their kids or grandkids don't want the albums. I would say even with myself in my late 50's, I only really bought cassettes as a kid and CD's after in my early 20's onwards, as albums were pretty well out of print by 1990/91 in Australia. And most albums, unless your favourites rarely get played. I certainly haven't played my cassettes since 1989.
Great video , this is a fantastic find, they are in Great Shape, hope you get the rest of his collection, you are the best, some of comment these people make, ridiculous, the records are out there just have to look and the price is amazing, Thank You, Steve
Unfortunately they reflect the light like a mirror and I much prefer to stay out of sight. Being in front of the camera is not really my thing, I am a bit like Banksy in that respect. Must vist Bristol.
