Who are you and what is your name?
My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on RU-vid. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.
Why don't you show your face?
My RU-vid channel is host to my podcast. However, I do make on camera appearances from time to time & have many times in the past- as this is how my channel started, with me on camera talking about whatever. And for those who always ask, yes, I am a black woman, LOL!!!!
What is this, where are the pictures or videos?
The MVMO Podcast is a talk radio program. Generally speaking , there aren't any pictures or vids. It is made for busy professionals like the host. To have the best listening experience, place your device down and multi-task or minimize the podcast on your cell and continue doing whatever you need to do as you have the host's voice going in the background. Your hands and eyes are free!
Where else can I find your podcast?
My podcast is only available on RU-vid. I use Spreaker, a free podcast recording app to record, but I do not have an active podcast on their site. If you hear my podcast anywhere other than youtube, feel free to let me know as it is not me but someone misusing my content.

Disagree with the host's opinion, but let's none of us attack each other personally SIMPLY because we have a different opinion. Several ppl in the comments have been blocked who called the host names all behind a diff. opinion. Nope, not welcome in the community. This is an opinion podcast, if you don't know how to disagree with the opinion but rather make your comment personal to the host, this isn't the place for you. Famous men and women are just like us. They have insecurities and flaws, just like everyone else. Ashanti, like many women, longed for a husband and family and made a choice that, while not ideal, seemed familiar and somewhat appealing to her.

That's interesting. My menses stopped when I was 58. Never had any menopause symptoms such as 🔥flashing and such. However, my grandmother had her last child in her fifties, so I guess it's in the genes..

@@mvmochannel Well my comment is to say every woman's body is different also peoples genetic background does play a part. In fact the women in my family menses all ceased in late fifties some in early sixties. So as you said this may not be the average however I know that genetics and lifestyle definitely play a part. I know exactly what peri menopause is however I had no symptoms before or after . I know my genetics and lifestyle play a part.

I got pregnant naturally at age 41 with my first and only child. My husband and I were thrilled, and our son is happy and healthy. I do agree, however, that my situation is rare.

I believe what messed alot of us up are the Disney books and videos we grew up on. Love is not a fairy tale. Your Prince will not come and save you from the big bad wolf. Nelly f’d up and realized he did and pursued the woman he always loved. People make mistakes. People take others for granted. He realized this and finally is giving her what she wanted. You can tell she left because he couldn’t give her what she wanted back then. He wasn’t ready for marriage. It took her leaving and him going through life without her for him to wise up. Ashante is married to Nelly. This is not a Keke Palmer, Osaka, Halle love story.

I don't know about the claim that she may have been selling herself. She has written a lot of hits back in the day that she still collects residuals from and she owns a few apartment complexes. She was fine before all of this.

Unpopular opinion, anything is better than a sperm bank because it presents a special kind of void inna child when they do not know WHO their father is. At least if the mother has a baby with an old boyfriend then at least the child has a point of reference.

It's so sad, and I'll add that Ashanti allowed him to "let him run his dog out," meaning...go and run the streets and get that dog out of you, and I'll wait! This is so sad and not uncommon in the 'culture'! She's a beautiful and talented woman, and I wish her love, peace, and happiness.

I am SOOOO glad yoi did this story because I was randomly thinking about how crazy Ashanti looks. Nelly is not committed to her but some ninjas will have a baby with you to have something that 4 ever connects yall in the future. It doesn't mean he is committed. He just likes the idea of her...sadly she is a single mother and not knowing it.

Nelly may not have to be responsible for this child but I hope he steps up as a father because children need both parents. They need to know their father loved them too.

It’s all good, I’m happy she gets to procreate. Ultimately that is what our body calls us to do, and doubly if the woman has a strong desire to be a mother, which it seems Ashanti does.

What’s the cliche’”, no devil like the one you already know? I believe she really loves him and was waiting for him to sew his oats even though that’s foolish. Hopefully this time is right for them both and time will tell. As far as Janet that certainly was an arrangement she dealt with him and his customs long enough to achieve the prize but stayed with her last husband and his alleged coke addiction for 10 years and got nothing! Both women wanted child and the clock was ticking. Wish them the best in both cases.

I think along with Ashanti wondering if not having a baby was a mistake, society ostracizes and marganilizes women who decide not to have children. When Ashanti was single and living her life on her own terms, people talked and now that she'shaving a baby on her own terms, people are talking. I actually think Ashanti romanticized her relationship with Nelly to make it more palatable, so people wouldn't talk as much and she feels better about having a baby with him. Unfortunately Nelly is who he is and marriage and a baby will not change him. The outcome of their union is ill fated. I hope that, at the very least they can remain cordial as parents.

Nelly poured out his heart in soul in his music & lives during their time apart. Ashanti set up boundaries with him that he respected. He has always spoke about how he wanted to marry the right person. It looks like he did. The sad part is that he really enjoyed himself as a single man. There are a lot of bitter mad 🐦 🐦‍⬛ 🦜 🦚 birds running up and down these social media streets.

This is a very unpopular opinion nowadays for sure, but I always sigh, shake my head, and wince a little bit when I hear about a woman who went her whole life without having children having her very first baby with a man who has more than one baby mama. That will never be a success story in my eyes. That will never be romantic in my opinion.

They are a cute couple…They appear to love each other. I agree that it may not be a fairy tale…every thing is easy love story but Ashanti is very beautiful and I don’t believe that she would not have had any trouble finding a mate. These are not the average woman. Janet does not need that man’s money. She has a huge catalog of music…

But you definitely can have a baby if you are very healthy. You can have healthy biology a lot younger than your chronological age, if you eat a diet that is natural and alkaline diet. I do know that. About the love situation, I can’t comment. I don’t know these people. I hope they, especially her, is following a healthy diet.

Although I did not know WHY Nelly and Ashanti all of a sudden decided to get married and pregnant so late in life, this makes a lot of sense. It was really strange and almost too good to be true. I think Janet didn’t get the money from her ex husband. And we haven’t seen that baby since. The ex has the baby and Janet is back on tour to help make up for some of the money she lost in the divorce. She played herself by waiting until the exact date that it became 5 years in to file. She at least could have did 5 years and 2 months or something.

Omg! I feel the same way! This guy never claim their relationship! Then he had a baby three years ago. So? At what point was Nelly looking for Ashanti. He was with that other lady for 7 years. And was on a show with her, and got engaged to her. He prolonged that ex for all the wrong reasons. This relationship is not going no where! Then they got married? They both are running low on money! I would have volunteered my services but we'd have to marry first. Having children outside of wedlock can expose them to generational curses. Most of my siblings were born outside of wedlock. All of them have major problems and their children have major problem. Even when you're married make sure you have fully repented befoee you conceive a child. Our sins can pass down up to 4 generations.
