Every time I degas, my wife wines. I did learn something new today thank-you. For some reason it never occurred to me to split a wine in two, and yes Julie I totally got your jokes. Thought I saw Greg crack a smirk but not sure.

My peach stalled but was really high like 14% i was wondering if i could split and dillute to half the sugar/honey. Mines not too sweet though.

Since it’s 14%, if it’s not too sweet and you like the taste you could leave it the way it is. Otherwise you could dilute it but you risk losing some flavor. We have had good luck with splitting the stalled batch, starting a new batch and then adding half to each of the split batch once fermentation is going strong.
