If temp control turns it off at 100 degrees then cold water will come out at 100 for a while, correct?

Do you need a check valve so water does not flow both ways?

Thank you for this. I know this is an old video but it is exactly what I was looking for.

Hey, great job! Question: if you open the cold water you would get hot water? And if you need cold water then you would have to wait?

Need vibration eliminators. That sounds awful. Good prototype design though

Thanks, I did add dampers to the mount later.

Thank you for sharing, I have a question: When we travel our water pump is normally on, will this method work if the water line is under pressure from our water pump?
@EdwardCzajka
@EdwardCzajka Год назад
Yes. This will simply circulate the water in the lines based on the temperature set. You need to have pressure in the lines, or you could start circulating air instead.

How long are the cold taps hot after running this? I'd imagine it's not long but still having an initial hit of hot water for 3-5 second?
@EdwardCzajka
@EdwardCzajka 2 года назад
Its like 5 sec and the water cools back off.

Will this work on tankless RV water heater?

I dont see why not

I see you turn the pump on with the switch and the thermostat turns the water off. Do you ever forget to turn the switch back off ? With the switch in the on position I would imagine the thermostat would turn the pump back on again once the water temperature drops.

That was part of the idea behind the design, so it was temperature controlled. If we are in a really cold place, I can use this to keep the pipes from freezing

@@EdwardCzajka Could this design be modified somehow to remove the need for an extra pump by simply opening a relay valve in a new hot to cold bypass line that drains by a new line to the fresh supply tank?

do you have a list of materials used for this project? I have an M185 myself and your videos have been very helpful.
