It shows how much damage artificial lifestyle, societies and monetary value can do to humans in general. Millions die like this. Every human is designed to love life. To bring a kind man like Byron to end it way before his natural time. Is making me sad.
No he couldn't save himself. His fanabse was so grateful to have him and were supporting him to no end. But because he had some hardships in life he had to end his life and cause the sadness and heartbreak of millions of those who loved him

The thing about suicide is that the majority of the people who have these thoughts don't want to die, they just want their pain to stop. May Reckful rest in peace.
You can hear in his voice he was a sweet person, I’ve never been a streamers type of person so I didn’t get to know him but like I said before he looked and sounded like a kind hearted individual. R.I..P
It's been three years and I still remember vividly my reaction when I saw the news on twitter. I didn't follow Reckful on his final days. I just know him from the early hearthstone days. But yet his death has been affecting me ever since then. Everytime I come back to this clip and see the emptiness in his eyes and how sweet he was being with chat, I can't help but tear up. I hope he would somehow know how much we miss him. He will never be forgotten.
I haven't had a good cry in while, but this got me. Dammit man, I grew up watching this man and he always seemed so happy, so full of life. I guess it goes to show that hurting on the inside can be just as bad as any external injury. We miss you man.
You can tell that he knew that this was his last moments on twitch. He told his viewers to play with eachother if they get lonely and I feel as though he didn't want this to happen to anybody else. What a kind man. Rest in Peace Reckful.
As heartbreaking as this is, I dont think he knew in this moment. He suffered from Bipolar II which causes increased mania and depressive episodes. He may have been feeling down and lonely for the past weeks caused by depressive episodes. But i think it was the mania to act out that suicide, meaning it could have been totally spur of the moment. There was no "planning" like people who dont suffer mental illness. He jumped from the balcony in the back video, with his tweets from that day and how he was acting online leans me more towards a manic episode and acting on manic impulses, and that to me is even more heartbreaking and sad. In the end it doesnt matter RIP BYRON

This was surreal to watch, the kind of way you know a loved one is never coming back. I don’t know who Byron is but judging by the steady stream of replies, he is well loved. I’ve been somewhat sceptical about the parasocial relationships we share with streamers but this is proof that a lot of people in this world are still nice and still look to spread love every single waking moment of their lives. May Byron continue resting in peace and may his legacy be one of hope for all this admirers.

@@619Gotenks I'm not trying to tell people su1c1de isn't the answer to feel better about myself, please don't jump to conclusions. I just think people should get the help they need. Vulnerable people CAN see this sort of stuff and it can do a sort of confirmation in their brain that maybe it's okay to do that sort of thing, and maybe even go through with it. When the whole time all they needed was someone they trust to talk to about it, or professional help.
i think he means that him saying "boop" was his last way of showing how he really was. Someone that could still in his last hours online with many people could say a cute and fond "boop" to everyone. Still, its a boop that breaks your heart.

The fact that this came up on my feed today of all days. One of my best friends committed suicide 2 years ago today. No visible warning signs. Nothing.
All these guys with negative comments about him are just jealous real life losers themselves who wish they had 10 percent the wealth he had. Also this is their only fleeting moment to feel superior and that too over someone who is long dead. How inferior...

If anybody is struggling with their mental health, please make the effort to try and get some help for it. Another thing to add, if you're depressed because the love of your life or whatever is no longer into you or you've seperated, keep pushing forward. They might seem like the one, but man if he/she/they/them are gone, you can ABSOLUTELY find somebody even better. It just takes time, you can't just expect to find somebody who matches you right away, but you will find them someday. I've watched Reckful for quite some time and still come back to this video... makes me sad man. Please, for Reckful, if you're struggling, get help. The world is a better place with you in it, no matter how bad your mistakes were or what has happened in the past.

It’s not your fault and it wasn’t mine either. It took a few years to realize that but when I turned 20yea old I made sure to no longer allow my mental state to be tossed around by my past. I’ve been married to my wife for 20 years now and we have 2 children. You can do this. Don’t give up. We’re all in this together. Im still severely depressed, but ive managed to get a job and start working out at the gym, I met this woman I really like but she might not feel or be aware of the feelings I got for her. I was depressed in July of 2020 myself. Thankfully I’ve gone through a huge spiritual journey of my own and can only imagine where he could be today if he had held on. R.I.P

not really when someone has made up their mind to do something that drastic, very very rarily can someone stop it especially in this case with no one knowing what was going through his mind after saying he would stream the following day or so so there was no real clue or hint, so may had been a trigger later on in the day after the stream.

everything feels so peaceful there , the sky in the background even looks beautiful, the chat being supportive and cool... , man this hits really hard.
I didn't watch it much, but from time to time I would stop by to watch a stream for a few moments. I will always remember that he was an incredible person, a nice guy and it is totally sad what happened. It really makes me reflect to this day and makes me think about what many people suffer and we don't realize it.

He competed in a handful of tournaments, and won Major League Gaming's World of Warcraft tournament in 2010" He is the person who pretty much shaped competitive WoW, he was the godfather of WoW PvP. He was a genuine dude, he lost his younger brother to suicide, and battled with depression. He was a good dude. He left a single brother, Gary, the last sibling of the trio.

He seemed like a genuine dude maybe he couldn’t continue dealing with what these people wanted from him or he crossed them somehow now he has to pay. He seemed scared not like he wanted to die but he accepted his fate. If he exposed them they might harm the people he loved. If you noticed in his last moments he left a positive message for the kids.

But still, I wouldn't think that a guy like him would offer or even interact with such forces, from a guy like him it would be expected from him to avoid such issues since internet problems are more than enough. But I wouldn't doubt that he would've been between suchlike situation. I mean other content creators did have similar situations where it involved much more serious terms of forces opposing upon them.

This is exactly the same for me. I had no idea who this guy was until this came into my recommended and I watched like 10 news articles about him. Still, watching his last moments on twitch feels terrible.

If someone feels like he is not accepted in a community, he will not be happy with himself i think. It's a very thin line. it wasnt a call for help , looking at the stream and this video he wasnt triggered yet leads me to think some thing happened later on that day seemed like he was trying to tell people he needed a break from streaming that he had let people take over his life and needed to get away from that, a soft reset so to speak but nothing says im suicidal. his own words said such..if i was to guess id say his suicide may had been negligent in other words not planned maybe drank and had medications that didnt go well together, happens a lot with teens and kids who are fighting depression.

They then deleted their comment as i see now. I don't know him/his RU-vid/Twitch stream: But, as someone who has been dealing with depression for 40 years but has now managed to beat it...I know that face/that facial expression...that one Like Robin Williams, you only know it in people with chronic depression. Honestly that's the same for alot people myself included. We never saw any of his content but this minute and a half has shown us all we needed to know about him as a man.
Scary thing is being like him. The sad clown. All we want is to make you smile, but all we do is cry. I've been hiding my depression and thoughts for years. When I've tried to talk about it, people get upset and weird. They feel like I'm attacking them or making a threat or something. It's often better to just tuck it away and pretend it isn't there so that other people don't get upset. We know our limits and always have a plan though. Take care of those around you and seek help if you need it.

@@Dhzury He is a pretty well known streamer that was suffering from depression so much so, that he decided to take his own life. It's very sad as this could have been prevented if he had spoken out and been more open about it. 😞
I want to send a positive message to all of the people who suffer from depression. I know what it's like because I've been there myself in the past but I am glad to still be here healthy. Sometimes, it can feel like your world is falling apart for whatever reason and I can understand it. However, even if it doesn't look like it, there are always people out there who will understand your pain and help you. Sending a warm virtual hug to anyone who needs one🫂❤
