Just got introduced to this band via Peacemaker and their song Monster. So glad I found this band. Definitely nostalgic back to my childhood living with 2 older brothers who were heavy into glam rock.
Mr Gunn introduced a lot of us to this great band. Saw the episode with the Monster song 3 days ago and I'm just listening to this band all the time. Now I was born in 87 and still I feel like I'm in the 80's when I'm listening to these songs.
Having been a Reckless Love fan for some time, I welcome you! If you like these guys, there are a LOT of Scandinavian bands playing the old-school glam metal sound: Crazy Lixx is my favorite. They sound like Def Leppard and Danger Danger had a kid lmao! Also there's Hardcore Superstar, Crashdïet, H.E.A.T, Confess (of Sweden), The Cruel Intentions, Santa Cruz, Temple Balls, Eclipse, Airbourne, Dynazty, Vains of Jenna, Shiraz Lane, Pretty Wild, Löve Razër, Cobra Spell, Toxic Rose, Wildstreet, and Dirty Penny, to name just a few... can you tell I'm a fan of the genre? Enjoy Dude 🤘
Been a Reckless Love fan for years, and this is INCREDIBLE!! people are quick to point out the difference between this new single and their previous works. Sure, it’s different but this still rocks! Nothing wrong with experimenting with different styles, they knocked it out of the park. I can’t wait for the full album! Much love from The USA.
This is not experimenting with dif style mate, in my opinion this is anothe example of lable watering down a band. This is basically crap compared to the songs that first got me into Reckless Love and right now I'm going to listen to them to get this rotten taste out my mouth.
@@innertiger Oh I've heard it before way to much, It not a new sound at all. Call me old or what ever but synth is nearly as bad as using autotune and boy do i hate that....
Anyone hating on the drum sound or the synthy elements apparently doesn’t know how many bands went AOR in the 80s in order to get hits and appear as the heroic anthem during the training montage in a sports movie 😂. This is legit AF
Remember the Maniac/flash dance guitar solo with its tapping part. This was the point where the 2 worlds merged. Then of course Def Leppard had to use the tech for different reasons but still made it big. I was 15 in 1980, never thought further than shit is shit and good is good, no matter the style. I was a massive Supertramp /Iron Maiden fan.
This band slipped my mind for a few years. Randomly decided to look them up today and Holy shit this is amazing ! Love it ! It's modern and classic at the same time. Really knocking it out of the park! Reckless love still shreds !!
This sounds amazing. This sounds better than everything on the last album. Sounds very promising and hopefully the new album will be everything we love about Reckless Love.
These guys have always been able to write a great song.... "Hot" , "Beautiful Bomb" , "Monster" , etc... This one seems a bit restrained for them... Let's hope that with a new label they can finally break worldwide. they're just what American radio needs right now.
Thats the problem i see with this track mate, that it is obviously an attempt to get that airplay and charts etc...It looks like to me we have another band being changed by a new lable who have there own plans for band. So i seen this happen in the 80s and now looks like the bands we love cuz they keeping the 80s alive are being the victim of the same lable corporate bullshit...They lost me i'll stick to the older material.
This is a pleasant and welcome nod to the 80's sounds of hard rock and synth-pop. I was blown away hearing this. Even some of today's younger generation would love it, as it sounds like some of the more recent up-tempo hits often played on the radio. If this was on an upcoming album, I'd definitely get a CD copy of it. Don't know about the group's past output at all, but I'll be checking that out as well.
80's synth seems to be a trend but I dont mind it, this is frickin great, been a fan since 2010 but didn't like InVader that much... This however is epic! Olli, Pepe, Hessu and Jalle, if you see this, please keep the 80's alive!
Can you surpass what has went before. Even the youth of today no the rock bands of the 80s more than these groups. No disrespect but when rubbish like grime and Ed sheeran get to number one in the UK you know your top 40 is junk compared to the songs that should be there. Ask most young folk what song is synonymous with the 80s and they will mostly say livin on a prayer or summer of 69. That's why they can never be surpassed imo.
Bem vindos de volta! Som fodastico Reckless Love voltou tanto que o som ficou com uma pega 80s kkkkk. Essa musica podia facilmente estar na trilha sonora de ´´Miami Vice´´
A new band to my ear, I was put onto this from a Facebook recommendation. It's on the lighter end of my metal spectrum of taste, but I could not help liking this catchy melodic singalong number - its' "secret" is that melancholy minor key in combination with an uplifting aspirational vocal. It brought a smile to my face. Add it to your rock/metal playlist for a little light to complement the shade. My score: Very Good 4*
