Thank you sir for sharing this video with us, I also use the same process merging the same gridcode s, can you tell me how to extract the land use cover for these grid codes, I am having a problem in that
hi_thank you for your video. I Have a qustion. i want convert polygone to raster but the area of this layer must be the same as dem file ,so in envirment part, i import dem for analysis .but at the end they are diffrent . what can i do?
hello I have a query regarding prediction . I have a data of 1991,2000,2011 and 2019 using those data can i predict the landcover change in 2030? can you help with this?
Hey ... thankyou for the video 🌸..but when I converted raster into vector format .. nd have changed colours but only for some parts of image... while remaining image is still black 🥺 ...how do I solve this ??
Hi!! I have a problem. I create a raster by interpolation but I need to export the data to excel and I don’t know how to do that. I tried this process (the one u show in your video) and it didn’t work. It says that the input allows only one band. I created this raster from 120 bands by composition. I want to “join” this information to a shape file. The raster shows annual average precipitation for Mexico and the shape file is the administrative areas for the country. Can u help me?? I’m desperate, this is for my thesis. Thank u ;)
Thanks for your useful vlogs about ArcMap, I converted raster format to vector(.shp) format but after conversion the map is as similar as raster map, i.e. still it is a blur map like raster map, so plz help me if you know how to fix this issue. I have only raster format file.
Thanks for this informative video I have one query that Can we merge pixels into some groups like in supervised classifications several scattered pixels fall into urban class instead of barren then How can we merge those pixels into barren classes.Thank You
Hi Mr.Aariz Ahmed, I think so, I have an idea. First Create a field in attribute just add the name based there use ex: Settlement or Barren Land and then group it together. I don't have any alternative, just try once. You can give your suggestion, thank you.
Hi, I hope you see this comment, when you selected gridcode 2, It selected land cover from different classes, that imply that the grid code doesnt just contain a certain class information e.g forest=2, grassland=1? I am facing this similar issue right now, the vector dont have classes as my raster
Hello Ms.Lisa David, the grid code in this video ranges from 1 to 6 which based on the reclass value. but my raster image have more classification that is 8, i have chosen 6 class for example as result some of the classification is missing out. if i had selected 8 class in reclassification the raster and vector transformation will be same as raster image.
Can we do this other way round... I've the shapefile of landuse. I need to convert it to raster. But I didn't get the desired results! Please help me out
Thank You Terra for the video. I am facing difficulty in opening the created shape file in geo pandas. Please give me some advice on how to do it. Thank You in advance.
Hi Mr. Rahul Singh, Thanks for your wonderful comment. Sorry I do not have any experience in geo pandas, will look for solution. If you found it please share with us. Thanks for your valuable question.
Hi, How to get values of a raster by drawing polygon on it via shapefile? I have calculated the NDVI of a raster file and i want to find the average value of each plot in the NDVI raster. I drew polygons on each plot but i'm unable to extract any values. Can you help?
@@kanchanrana1679 I used Zonal-Statistics. The Zonal-Statistics-as-Table from the ArcToolbox was used where the shape-file was given as the feature input and the PH-raster file was given as the input raster. Zonal statistics generated a table in the layers panel with all the basic statistics of each row for the PH. The table was exported using the Table-to-Excel command.
Hi, it doesn't reduce the shapefile. But improves the load time and highly useful in calculating the area of each feature class. Thanks for your valuable question.
Hi Anna, I have added a link. Please visit this website, it specifies how to calculate the area of raster in ArcGIS. And Please let me know the usefulness of this method, Thank you. www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-desktop/imagery/calculating-an-area-in-raster/#:~:text=An%20easy%20way%20to%20find,cell%20size%20and%20linear%20units.
Hello Mr. Najwa Azman, I didn't understand your question. You need to work with buffer tools or calculate the area of the buffer, please specify so that we can help you.
I have processed a map using envi software. Then i want to do the buffer analysis in arcGIS software. So now i just have a map in tiff format. So how i can do the buffer analysis in arcGIS?
@@najwaazman4130 Hi now i can suggest you few methods: Step 1 --> convert your tiff to shapefile for that two process are available like a. reclassify tool b. raster to shapefile. Reclassify your result tiff and then convert it to shapefile. Finally the result shapefile can be used create any buffer like point, line or area buffer. If you need create a buffer for selected feature then, please open the attribute and select the needed part of the shapefile and export. If you have further doubts you can ask me. Thanks for your valuable question & comment. You follow this video Mr. Najwa Azman
Hi Garima Sherpa, The attribute table have large data, because I have converted raster image to shapefile. The values in raster field are converted and due to complexity of the land the output attribute table have a large data. These large data can be merged based on there value. Thanks for your valuable question. If you have further doubts, please ask.
Hello at @@garimasherpa9302, to achieve that. you would need to use a DEM data for basin analysis. create elevation data, delineate your study area, and then proceed with creating a basin using the hydrology tools in the spatial analyst toolbox. then use map algebra to filter elevation below 5000m and then intersect it with the basin created. look up vidoes on basin analysis. regards!
