I was always skeptical in reincarnation but seeing this baby so settled,calm and looking around observing like a grown adult was amazing.Any baby sitting there in front of the whole crowd would've been crying for his mom less then couple minutes..
I've never been skeptical about reincarnation as it's the most logical concept. It's science that matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Everything only goes in cycle. Our energy too doesn't just magically disappear after death. Skepticism if any would be on the part where they choose a so-called reincarnated Lama. That part we can never be 100% sure about. With billions of people on earth it would be very difficult to say this or that is the certain reincarnation of a particular person. Not that we have any doubt about reincarnation, but if they pinpointed the exact individual. But for sure they've been correct at times. But maybe not always.
The look on the childs face was extraordinary and he was so composed for the most part except for the one time he got a bit scared. Some people feel that it is wrong to have the child go through ceremony so early in development but seems to be part of the Tibetan socio-political system. If only we chose leaders like that in our country - guided by wisdom and not greed. Hypothetical but Imagine.

It is time to transform, reform, and probably stop, the tulku tradition. It doesn't apply and doesn't fit anymore (and as always been too political). The Dalaï-Lama has often, courageously, spoken in that way... 🙏🌸
