This one touched my SOUL

When I was young in high school, we’d hear of a lot of young people go to juvi or camp or worse. In my county, they were even constructing a new juvi building at the time as well! There came a point for me when in school I had a contract not to get in fights nor wear colors & outside of school I was in probation for the first time. Stubborn as I was, I decided to go against that school contract of not wearing colors & show up there. Sure enough they called me in but I ran from them. School police caught up around the area & brought me back to the campus. They asked if I had probation & I said I did. So the officer called the county to pretty much proceed further when you break your probation. Miraculously, however, he told me that juvi was full, that they had no more room for me! I believed it cause the new building wasn’t close to being finished. So I didn’t end up going to juvi & I really felt that it was a real miracle that that happened to me. As anyone can know, once your in the system it’s hard to get out & you can stay in it like a cycle. I knew that that would be the case for me if I would’ve been sent to juvi. I did managers finish getting out of the system & expunging my record, all thanks be to God. I wrote this since at the end of the song, he shows a different song that reminded me of this episode that I thought I might share. Thanks Reconcile. Hopefully, I can learn to be a mentor to others in my community like you & others do as well. God bless!
