Reconstruct Your Favourite Things With Leather 

Have you ever seen a non leather item that you've wanted to recreate out of leather? Or maybe it's a bag that you have and it has seen better days, waiting to rest?
In this video, we will go through the deconstruction process of a canvas tote bag and making into a leather tote. As some of us can be addicted to having leather pieces, we think about replacing or covering our everyday carry's with leather. Correct me if I'm wrong.
We will explain the considerations of reconstructing an item out of leather and tips to make your idea come to life. Even though we are using a TechSew machine for this video, every process applies to hand stitching as well. Some techniques might require specialized tools (leather splitter & hand press) but can be replaced by smaller hand held tools for a budget friendly option.
