I think this was my fav episode. So addicting seeing one sieve after another full of goodies. The green bottle must go on the window! I have an idea: why don't you gals set a tiny fairy table with all the child's cups and lids as plates. It would be charming with a handkerchief table cloth, little flowers. Can't wait to see the jewelry you make!!

I'm a rock hound and I get so excited watching you both scavage for all these neglected little wonders from the past.... my ancestors ie great grandmother, were avid pottery collectors.... they were immigrants from England and Scotland to my home New Zealand. Sifting the riverbank dirt for hidden treasures was a fun idea! I think I could watch an entire video of just that haha! Also am very invested in seeing how big your cod marble pyramid grows by the end of the year! That's going to be a beautiful lighted sculpture I imagine

Firstly can I say another extremely enjoyable and informative video Ladies, as usual. Secondly I would like to nominate mini frozen Charlotte for the Window. And finally I would like to thank the pair of you (and Tom Burleigh) for taking me back on a nostalgic trip to my Childhood and early teens. I was born in Newcastle (65 years ago)and lived in Tynemouth for the first 4 yrs, then moved to Chester le street for a couple of years and then Guisborough in Cleveland (Old North Riding of Yorkshire) and so many of the places you and Tom visit were favourite spots for me when younger. So Thank You and please keep those memories Flowing.

Oh boy - I was just like you two!! "Just one more time." Thank you so much for this week's lark. I was enthralled the whole time. In the round-up I saw a gorgeous copper disk, which appeared to be the remains of a clock mechanism, or some such thing. That's my choice to go in the window. 2nd would be the Queen Victoria commemorative medallion. 3rd would be the tiny frozen Charlotte. Hope you are both well, and staying safe. See you next week.

Hello! Some of you have mentioned a problem with the sound on Gail's mic. This may only be experienced if you are using headphones - the sound seems ok from our end. We have a new mic so hopefully any new videos will be ok, but any videos already recorded may have the same issues xx

The sound is coming mainly from the left channel so the right speaker/headphone is quiet. Maybe just rebalance it in editing. 🙂 great video

Oh Alex…when you found the broken bottle stopper, there was some sort of heart-shaped clay thing just to the right and above the stopper…I wish you had grabbed it, I’d love to have seen what it was! Awesome finds though, and I enjoyed watching you sifting…that was quite fun! The frozen Charlie gets my vote to join the window sill bunch

You always put a smile on my face when I watch your video escapades. It's so calming to watch your videos after a long and hectic shift at work. My hands were aching just from watching Alex sifting in that frigid water. Brrr. Way to take one for the team, ladies!! There were so many fantastic finds this week that choosing for the window was a chore. I kept having to go back to the footage of the table to weigh out all the options. I choose the claw pipe, the jubilee medallion and the teeny tiny frozen Charlotte. I loved the story about the young American tourist celebrating the captain’s birthday. Wonderful research! Thank you. ❤️

I’m an Aussie mudlark and I found two bopple stoppers and some uranium glass, plus some doll parts! Keep it up, you two! Also, consider bringing some safety pins of varying sizes to store beads on. I clip them to my shirt hem. :)

That pyramid is very pretty. I imagine it will look amazing lit up! Wet-sifting is a great way to look for finds and sieves are used by archeologists. It was fun watching you try it out. 😊

Got to love a codd marble,lovely clay marbles,beads beads beads love ❤️ them, loads of dolls things so lovely to find.As for the tiny frozen Charlotte O.M.G wow wow 👌 and to find it whole incredible,loved the large glass stopper you answered our question of what ours came off thank you,the glass diamond 💎 was lovely, pipes galore,so many lids shame the embossed one was chipped. The Izal bottle is lovely another find you answer for us as we could not find anything were useless lol, the Led coin had us going for a while what a great find. Thanks for taking us along on a great lark
