I'm happy you're reacting to season 2 of this amazing anime - there are however a few things I would like to clarify 1 - all of the human fighters and those in the audience are dead and reside in the various afterlife 2 - when a God or human dies in the tournament they go to Nibelheim. That means their soul is destroyed and they can't reincarnate 3 - the killing of any God or human outside the tournament (especially the chosen combatants) is strictly prohibited

The leader of the seven lucky gods you saw this episode who stood front and center is Bishamonten, he is also a fighter on the gods team. Only saying because for some reason the descriptions didn't get subbed in time because netflix sucks and subbing the voice lines and onscreen descriptions and the same time!

A well-proportioned body strong as a lion, fair skin, sapphire-colored eyes, 4 crystal canine teeth and long, curly hair. Yep that’s Buddha alright. I’m not sure about his hair color tho. Some said it was black but others claimed it was green.

Hercules' death was very impactful, but it could've been more impactful if Jack either cried about Hercules dying while he was dying after taking his hands our and hugged him back or just dwelled on what the emotion he was feeling was for longer and realized it was sadness then said "oh so this is what sadness feels like" . I don't mind them being upset and crying about Hercules' death, but throwing rocks at him while he's injured and dying is out of line.

Even as a Buddhist, I gotta say I love Buddhas drip in this series. Info about Buddha according to Buddhism (so not the anime so no spoiler don't worries, also the anime will portray this differently anyways lol): He used to be a mortal He lives 500 lives in different bodies and animal and species. He then get to become an angel for all his deeds, but he then get selected by other gods to be born again for a last life to collect good deeds and ascend to god hood. After he build a religion (Buddhism), he then dies and ascend to be even the greater god than the gods that choose him ,and got to the highest level of heaven in Buddhism, and becoming the "one true god". Ps: I'm a Buddhist from Thailand so yeah we pretty much learn it in every school.

Guys, remember, they summoned the souls of every human, living and dead. The Ragnarok Fighters aren't pulled out of time, their souls are summoned. Their heavenly bodies fight, and if they die, their soul ceases to exist. That's why Jack needs the infirmary. So his heavenly body doesn't die, and he doesn't cease to exist

I think the end of this fight was best described by Anne and Shakespeare. The gods litteraly threw everything at Jack, from curses to stones while humanity kept silent about it. Like Anne said he fought the gods like he always did fight, alone. Even winning no one rooted for him. And that makes Shakespeares words even better and heavier, Jack is a human no matter how much others disagree. His motivation and feelings may seem twisted to others, but in core they are not so much different than ours. And he is a reminder that humans have a monstrous side, every one of them. Most of us simply deny it, since it's easier for us. And paradoxly, Jack understood Hercules better, than most on the god side. Hercules loved humanity, with all its flaws. The gods saw a hero, yes. A beacon of justice. But did they truly understood him? His motivations? I say no, they didn't. His conversation with Loki showed it best, cause the trickster didn't realy grasp it imho. Herculrs knew about humanitys weaknesses, their failures, their cruelty. But he also knew, that not all humans are like that, that you can't put them all in the same corner. In that second, he earned my respect.

Spoiler alert here for those who read Jack spin off manga When peoples hating him and throwing rock at him, it make me sad he got treat like that eventho he is fighting for human side. Villain or not he still he risk his life to battle a god, but now that I know he is not even the real Jack the Ripper and he never murder innocent woman instead saving one from being murder by the real Jack the Ripper make this scene even sad huhuhu :C

The hell are these guys so confident going up against Kojiro for? This man already killed Poseidon, the god all of them were scared of. Do they think they have a better chance?

People who cheer and are happy when Jack wins, sickens me. Absoultely disgusting. What a sorry excuse of a Human beings they are. Beyond Pathetic. Hercules is more Human than those guys will ever hope to be. He wants to save Mankind. He clearly wasn't trying to kill Jack. He could never kill another Human. He Loves humans so very much. He very blatantly wasn't trying to kill Jack the entire fight and if he was then he had every opportunity to kill Jack at the end to at least make it a tie. But what did he do instead? He hugged Jack and told him that he Loves Humans and apologized for yelling at him and they still cheered for Jack when he won? Beyond pathetic. I was tearing up. Hercules is the greatest character in RoR and in most of fiction and you cheering and being so happy like that after Jack wins and Hercules dies is just beyond pathetic.
