May sound weird but videos like this always inspire a sense of hope within me. Like people walking forwards towards achieving happier and more fulfilling lives. Makes me happy
Reminds me of the probably now abandoned project chrysalis. It was a collection of trans people making voicebanks at various times during their HRT. Havent seen anything about it since like 2017 though.
@@hillabwonS a voicebank isnt a trans thing but a vocaloid thing, the name kinda explains everything tho, its just a bank of voices from a specific person used2 create music
Dude, I've had this idea for a while; (a pre & post hrt voicebank) so seeing someone having the same ifea & commiting to it is cool- Have a great day & good luck!
if you're still a teenager then your voice is gonna shift for a while anyway, so you could do now -> just before hrt -> increasing amounts of time on hrt
@@ilexdiapason that’s what im planning on doing :] I’ve decided to do a silly thing where every birthday i make a new voicebank of myself to hear how its developed over the years
if your voice already sounds this cool, it's probably gonna get even more awesome!!! >:000 Also I saw that someone already asked to trade, but, um, I'm gonna have to ask if it's okay to share because...
I have issues since a surgery and idk if I'll ever get my old voice back. I'm still working through my bitterness. But the idea that you like your old voice enough to preserve it is really important perspective. Even as you get the opportunity to discover a new version that should almost certainly better suit you. Maybe I don't have to hate it, if I can just get it to work consistently- even if it doesn't feel like me?
omg this is actually a brilliant idea. i got nervous of losing all my voice impressions of fem voiced characters, but i should do something similar like this maybe? sounds nice even if you didnt put much effort! (i hope that doesnt mean im bad at wordinf 😭)
Holy shit, this is cool af Also, congratulations to your Transformation!! Considering what surgery you guys go through, you have to be strong af to handle that. So... heres your crown 👑
@raindrop6942 You will get there, I had to endure two and a half years of going between doctors before figuring it out. My tip: Get a therapist, if you're a minor most endocrinologists will not want to work with you without a mental health counselor. Once I did that, and since my parents are supportive, getting T was actually a lot easier than I thought, even in my small city. Otherwise, you just gotta hang in there. The waiting is the worst part of your life, but you'll never get to experience the joy of transitioning if you take the easy way out. Like, I was on the verge of just giving up, but I didn't want to die without being able to finally experience being comfortable in my skin, so I kept fighting and doing research for what resources were available. If you need help DIYing it because it's illegal in your area or something, DM my Discord
I once heard a song of a guy who dueted with his older version before he transitioned. It was safe and sound by Taylor swift, that one for the Hunger games. It was on Tumblr. The combination of both voices was really nice.
@@Just-A-RU-vid-UserIn many countries, it's unreasonably difficult to even get HRT prescribed or to go through other aspects of medical transition. Same goes for changing legal gender records or legal names - it's often possible but just way too hard. (e.g. in Poland, to get your gender marker corrected, you have to go through a lengthy process of starting a civil suit against your own parents). On top of that, various social issues - not being able to safely use the bathroom we're comfortable in, others intentionally misgendering or deadnaming trans people, etc.
@@Just-A-RU-vid-User Erin In The Morning has a wonderful (-ly sad) trans safety map of the USA on her website. Sadly, many states in the US are completely banning most if not all trans care and legal recognition. So yeah, we're kinda losing our rights rapidly 😭
yall realize u can keep your old voice, right? You just have to do voice training basically the same way that transfems do it except its an effort of preservation instead of unlocking a new skill entirely. It's entirely possible and I've heard of people do it. edit: but yes i am aware that T will change things like vocal fold thickness, and while you its 100% possible to keep vocal range, other qualities of your deadvoice might be harder to re-achieve.
@land3021 Because I'm taking hormones and it's going to make my voice all deep💀 Which I want, I want a masculine voice, but it'll be nice to basically archive my voice as it is now
