Killer playing!!!! Neumann km84 my favourite!!!!! its just perfect and pleasant to listen. AKG 451 sounds amazing and detailed DPA4011 is a total deception, It costs 6 times as much as the AKG 451. Its just different, not better than AKG 451
Yea, indeed the AKG sounds great on everything, but a little bit sharper sound, more edgy. For a resonator I mostly use big condenser capsule microphone, for more low end frequencies.
IMHO both are great mics. The old Neumann is a more airy, balanced and warmer sounding mic, overall is the winner. But the 451 being a much cheaper mic do his job very well. It depends on your budget mostly, but both can sound really well.
