Dave seems like a cool guy. You'd have no idea how hard it is to find a bass player who isn't useless. I've even heard of cases where the guitarist records the bass parts "to make things easier".

Hi Bea, iv just had a simple wiring mod to my strat i think you'll LOVE. i have the volume wired as a push pull so that when it's not engaged the strat works as normal, but when engaged, pos 2 is b/m in SERIES and 4 is n/m in series like a humbucker. 3 is all 3 pickups and 1 and 4 are the same. such a cheap mod, but SO BADASS. peace, can't wait to hear the album!

The riff from 7:20-7:43 is so powerful. While the rhythm is complex and interesting, the notes find a way to smoothly blend into one another like a tapestry. I really hope there's a significant amount of that particular riff without vocals in that song. I don't say that to offend Rob... I say it because that riff alone carries itself like a beautiful woman knocking the fuck out of someone.

The gears you have in your studio is so sick.

since dorje are guys that care about their instruments and the quality of everything, i think it would be great to release at least a few individual instrument tracks

Awesome work guys, Bea I was wondering I've noticed that you have two relics of your signature one a darker shade like the one used in this video and another which is a lot lighter I wondered how you got the lighter effect I've asked around and no one seems to know so I thought I would ask direct. Chaps, I have a question, went you record with all the Eq and reverbs or whatever done on input, do you find later that the instruments dont always sound like they are in the same space....and how do you correct it?? Cheers

How did you guys set this up so that you can record the guitar part without headphones? Me and my band are trying to record at the moment and the shittest thing about it is running the click into headphones. Are the cabinets in another room and you're hearing the monitored signal or is it in an isobox and thats what you can hear or something entirely different?

Wake up, drink coffee, go to studio. The only way that day could be any better is by adding a few hot chicks and some beer.

Rabea get your self a resonator guitar and play with it. I've got three (two spider cones and one biscuit cone) and the spiders give a more mellow tone, and it's cool bluesy.

All that gear and here I am, with a Line 6 Micro Spider, trying to find a decent cab for my Laney head 😭
