When you explained it, it was easy to get and just requires a little practice to immediately determine which is credit or debit. My teacher bragged that he could teach Accountancy with his eyes closed and we were so pressured about this because he was rushing us not even explaining properly how to classify the transactions :

IMHO... we should be taking a bit of pain by pausing the video in the applicable places and go about copying it in a paper using a pencil... instead of asking for a "ready made" one..... that way we practice and will be more efficient.
Something told me to look up videos on accounting/double entry bookkeeping and it led me to this video. Now im kinda confused... Im 27 years old and im learning alot about banking & the history of it, etc... Does this mean ive been banking incorrectly my whole life??? If I spent (Debit) 20 bucks from my checking account I believed that money was gone forever🤔 I never knew it was a formula to how it should be recorded in my bookkeeping 🤦♂️WOW. Ive left the bank to do the accounting for me and now I see the deception clearly! Awesome explanation man! Im seeing this in 2021.

another question, insurance pays u right? so do u mean that when u use it, that was like the time limit is over and not that the insurance will pay u for something that got damaged? beacuse when u got paid by insurance thats like the cash is flowing in right so it is a debit?

hey, im taking business administration, i have accounting, I understand it alot more now, but I am having some issues with the general ledger, if I were to buy a truck for 10,000, paid cash of $5000, and the rest with notes payable, how would i post that on my ledger . thanks
