Hi, bouncing analog tracks on the same tape machine (in this case the tascam 234) is pretty simple. You just have to mix down your recorded tracks onto a free track (if you have recorded 3 tracks, you mix down all 3 onto the 4th). This is done using a mixer that mixes down the tracks (in my case all 4 tracks are mixed down to 2 tracks). You can do that externally and ‘bounce’ all 4 recorded tracks of the tascam on a computer. Of course, being an analog recorded, bouncing those track to the computer means hitting record on your DAW and hitting play on the tape deck and then wait ;) Hope that helps

@@DaveElectronics can explain the process. For example i have a recording , recorded on Tracks 1 and 2 . 3 is free . Do i engage on the the record input on track 3 and let track 1 and 2 play out ?

@@alanfindingzen Yes, it's basically as you describe. You have to plug the line out from track 1 and 2 to a mixer and use it to mix down the two tracks in a single one.
