Where were you in 1998 when I was trying to put a recording band together ala' Steely Dan & late period Beatles? Lol. Probably not even born yet right? Man, that was brilliant, so well played and recorded. The incredible visuals just put the cherry on top. I started recording in late 1993, with a Tascam 424 Portastudio. In 1996 I bought a Tascam 488mkII, the last eight track cassette multitracker Tascam made. If you didn't bounce (at least internally) you could get very cool results if you recorded hot levels and got a great sound at the source. I had a buddy who bought the Tascam 38 and it was a beast. Very stout and if you love on it (cleaner the heads, condition the roller, demagnetize the heads every couple months, it will keep you in business for years. I'm going to check out your SoundCloud and other videos too, thanks for sharing your process brother.
Fantastic! Both visually and audibly well done! The Hammond does add a vintage perspective...I'm listening to "Dot (Extended Version)" as I'm writing this, without repeating myself to much, I'll just add a new word...awesome! :) ~Jack, VEG
