Yep! The Buffer Size is the main moving factor that determines the processing speed to "translate" the sound. But of course, any buffer size will be a result that won't perfectly equal "real time," so, by adjusting the input latency, we can shift it so it moves back to the user's intended "real time." :D

Fl Studio already has it's automatic latency compensation mode. I never had a need to manually edit the input latency myself. I dunno! Maybe they haven't gotten much complaints about it on their forums? '' maybe this video will drive curiosity towards that topic!

I use the twin duo and have never seen that or used it. I just adjust latency through through uad control panel settings and set the buffer size in there. Maybe check your daw and make sure its also using that buffer size?

@@salux47 i have the exact same problem as you, i also recorded in fully mixed and mastered beat project with vocal processing on in FL on windows, no latency. But on my mac studio m1 ultra, i always have this problem and the more plugins open, the more delay i have IN the DAW… i need help bro its f me up.

Thanks! The Sample rate honestly it up to you! I stick with 44.1Khz mainly because it's just the right amount needed, and human's can't really hear too much above the 20Khz range. 48Khz goes up to around 24Khz where 44.1 goes to around 22Khz If I'm not mistaken! As for the buffer size, again. It is up to you and how comfortable you are with the sound's timing when you speak. But do experiment with the length to see what works best for you!

Not sure :( But it could possibly be: 1. could be a bug in the current FL Version that you are using. Never know! Download the latest version if you haven't! 2. A Driver issue, maybe the driver that you are using for your audio interface is out of date or is not installed at all?

Hey! Hmm... I don't believe that the input latency option would work. Before anything though, if you're using Autotune, there is an option for a "low latency mode" within the plugin itself. Make sure that it is selected before anything! There is an option called "track latency" which you can use to manually adjust the timing of the signal based on what you set it up as. If you see that the Timer icon at the bottom is yellow. That means that there is an automatic latency compensation activated. Hmmmm.... Dunno! But, Just for a comparison I guess. I use a AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU 8Core 3.4Ghz And my Audio Interface is the Focusrite Clarett 8PreUSB Even with my older PC's CPU, it was an AMD Fx+ 8350 8 core CPU 4Ghz and that worked just fine too.

i think it is depending upon the quality of your computer and mic fl studio is really hard on your computer if you have a bad processor
