The sudden change from “Why” which is slower, a bit calmer, a bit sadder, to “Revived” which is very fast and has a wild to it, in a sense, made me jump XD

I like to think that Why and Revived are on the same record and you just flip over to the other side of the disc to change the tune.

I've noticed that for the Revived disc it looks like Wilbur is holding a sun like how at his revival he said this sunrise is his.

The minecraft enchantment table language on the Write It Down disk says things like: don't stray away from the path, I'm so glad to see you...(there's another word but I can't make it out) and I see you have ....(can't make out the rest).

Derivakat is the one artist that doesn't have any bad/dislikable songs, literally every single song is amazing

It hit me like a truck when I realised they were playing in chronological order lmao.

pure talent right here, each song has its own vibe and has such unique and like- not just smp exclusive content? like, you can definitely interpret the lyrics as something completely unrelated to the smp! and in such little time, releasing two whole-ass albums is such an achievement- esp. considering she does a lot of the work. seriously, we're all rlly proud of u derivakat and whoever's reading this make sure to hydrate!!

The one thing I honestly enjoy about derivakat's songs specifically with casino Royale, and revived is that they integrate sounds that correspond with the setting or character it just gives the song a whole different feeling kind of making derivakat's music unique to me cause I don't really hear that alot.. and turn back time is also another one where the integration of sounds pulls the music together and makes the song more enjoyable to listen too. 😌

I'm seeing a lot of love for Revived and Doomsday in the comments but not enough about how much of a banger Casino Royale is and how it is the best song in the album.

I think one of my favorite parts of this album was the fact that doomsday, why, and REVIVED were all about techno, tommy, and wilbur respectively. its a cool little subtlety that i think shows how their “perfect” family has been ruined, each brother in their own way.

No one really thinks about how Karl has to literally let his friends lose there lives to keep the TIME CONTINUUM straight. You really catch the feeling of being caught between your heart and your head. All of them are bangers though, just wanted to give this one a little love :)

derivakat is one of the most underrated artists, she make tons of songs every month, and if that isn't enough she makes diferents types of music, badass songs like revived, chill ones like 4AM or pop like Fireborn. Shesh!

derivakat is honestly one of the most talented producers, songwriters, and singers i've ever heard in my life. the work she does is honestly insane and i feel so lucky that the dream smp community has an artist like her within it. good job, derivakat, the songs are all fantastic. keep up the good work!

I love how they are sort of paired up ; 2 Karl songs, 2 different POVs of the Battle for L'Manberg, Ghostbur song and Alivebur song and the Quackity chilling

Derivakat is a multi-genre musician, maybe that's why I like all her songs, I dont really have a favorite genre (Every time I listen to Revived I get a headache tho so not so much Revived)

I love how this album feels darker or at least more mature in tone versus the first one. As the characters grow, so does this music and it’s so cool to see :D ALSO REVIVED IS SUCH A BOP I CANT GET OVER IT

Can I just GUSH about the “night before dawn” record: as it represents Wilburs fall soon after the song being sung. Contrasting with the song itself the disk looks custom made and vandalised, Also the flag in the picture is the Manberg one (no lines to distinguish the colours). This was clearly done to contrast the song’s lyrics with its meaning. derivakat wrote it as a L’manberg song sung by Pogtopia pre fall/Red festival Wilbur who’s hanging onto hope. I can totally imagine him taking the disk a few days after recording it, taking it to the button room, and spray painting onto it as he’s rejected the values he once fought for.

i love the contrast between different songs like youve got 2 time travel bois first then you get a kinda hopeful lmanburg song before it hurls you into what actually happened then it gives you another perspective of doomsday from ghostbur before showing bacicaly the opposite of the song and the character and then it goes from revivebur to quackity, who are kinda head to head

The "you should see the other guy" phrase of Revived almost made me cry thinking Ghostbur's gone

I love how everyone was crying/giving out blue during Why. Anyone want some blue?
