Hi, please tell me what is difference between partition recovery and file recovery. *I got black screen issue and my C drive files and folders are now showing under D drive.* I am scanning for file recovery now. *Is it scanning from the start of the laptop purchase files?* After that i will do partition recovery. *What is the difference?* *Or should I do system image?* What should I do? Mini partition tool works better. Also, you don't need to have a separate drive to recover your data. It takes max 3 hours for a full scan of 1 TB drive and recovers right where the data was originally located. However, it's free version doesn't allow recovering deleted partition. I downloaded cracked pro version from pirate bay and recovered all my data.

Unfortunately when disk platter is not moving properly in accordance with head, then this error is shown, cyclic redundancy error. Sorry I do not have any solution regarding this...
