In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Yeah! It was actually really good for 15 minutes! Some perspective would've been nice to match the perspective in the photo, but that probably would've taken a bit more time. I thought hers was good!

I have a pic on my phone of when I worked at McDs with me and Ronald McDonald. When I watched this for the first time I picked that pic. I would have had a ton of fun dressing Alex up as a clown 🤡

I would have been in trouble. My coolest picture of me is on the Wild Mouse at Luna Park in Sydney, Australia! Recreating me wouldn't have been too difficult, but the picture is from an automated camera and it added a kangaroo mascot in its own wild mouse car in the foreground. Alex Horne would have needed to get naked for the foreground shot! 😂

Yep, and even though the first few seasons were shorter, their replay value is high. In fact, Tree Wizard by itself occupies a large chunk of my thoughts, and I still await a kids' TV show based on this (akin to Catweazle).

@cyberwomble7524 I've rewatched: 5,6,7,10,11,12 so far, but I will definitely do them all at some point! ( The reason I haven't rewatched some is because I just recently finished them for the first time)

Not all of them make me wanna watch again. The current series won't be a rewatch for me, I can already tell. But I think the Sam Campbell, Julian Clary etc. season has such high rewatchability. Sometimes, groups are just so well matched.

Ardal could've made excellent use of the golf course with his photo! Maybe even shooting from the rooftop. It's a sham he used the stage instead. Some good attempts in there and whatever the dog one was as well.

The coolest picture I possibly could have had on my phone would have been one of me swimming in the open ocean next to a whale shark, off the coast of Cancun. ...had I paid the tour guide $50 for it. Instead, I've got a bunch of selfies and pictures of my passport for various tourist visa apps. Which would have been VERY easy to replicate, if I was willing to dox myself.

I mean after you complete the "find the coolest photo in your phone" task, then for the 2nd task, you can just take a new photo that you deem cooler, thereby changing the coolest photo on your phone to the new one, and then have the same picture taken again for a 100% accurate recreation!

Lost all of my pre digital photos to a recent house fire. Make digital back ups of your old stuff. It can’t be replaced. My cool photo was walking down at Charles Ave in New Orleans on the neutral ground between the street car rails with two elephants as a street car passed. This was in the early 80s. No way to recreate that. That kind of thing just isn’t allowed anymore.

I would failed this task My Phone legit has 0 photos I am someone who hardly ever uses there phone, unless someone used my phone then took a photo I dunno about I have 0 photos so my 2nd part woulda been hears nothing coz i legit have 0 photos in my phone ... I win?
