This is actually insane. The original Spiderman game on the PS1 was one of my most played childhood games. I cannot being to count how many times I beat the game. This video is such a treat. I'm no longer a gamer but holy cow, I'm so glad this was recommended to me.
Dude, when I saw the ps1 version recreated in this video my jaw dropped and I was so happy with nostalgia. One of the best Spider-Man games for sure. Great video.

I like the small details, not even in the mods, but the specific areas that you choose to show off each mod. Like having the Edge of Time Peter Parker suit only show up during the Fisk Building mission, because that game notoriously only took place in one building. Or showing off the Noir stuff with him going against Hammerhead because, in Shattered Dimensions, that was one of his more well known missions. Good video, great mods.

i was so little when i first got this on my nintendo 64, i used think that the absence of webbing on the in-game model's design was because the developers found it hard to draw webs like me and any other kid did

The 2099 one was hands down the best one...just flesh out the graphics a lil, add a bit more neon and glitchy effects and a bit of story and voila, almost gives you the vibe of an actual new spiderman game. The time paradox ability actually made spiderman feel like he's moving extremely fast.
@@Ibrotherj It's mod to make it more like ultimate from 2005 where swinging was really fast and if I remember correctly, the hand peter swings with is determined by which ever trigger you use to swing with. So you can bank corners with well timed trigger presses instead of "I'm facing this way so I'm going this way" swinging. And web zipping did not require anchor points or aiming, he would just pick a surface in the direction you're looking and pull. And you could climb the web mid swing to change the ark which would slow or speed up the swing. It's not better, just less physics based and more hands-on/speed based. Not surprising since this one had a bunch of races in it.
The chapter names referencing the games was neat, but when Moonlight Sonata kicked in for Web of Shadows, it got a chuckle out of me. This guy knows his Spider-Man games.
This is masterful and it gave me so much nostalgia and made me feel how I used to feel about video games! Spider-Man PS1 was one of my favorite games ever and Spider-Man 2 was my first PS2 game from way back! Spider-Man's my favorite superhero and it's amazing that you were able to incorporate all of the video games into this one! Beautiful work!

This isn’t just modding. It’s a work of modern art, the raimi fight sequence was nailed with the heavy punching and web based kicks, the final fight with goblin if you showed that to me 10 years ago and told me it’s a deleted scene from spiderman 3 I would’ve believed you it’s THAT good
i just know the sm2 mods are gonna be crazy when modders figure out how to mod symbiote suit mods with different red suit mods, people are definitely gonna add the WoS suit and symbiote suits together, but who's to say they won't already be in the game
That WOS gameplay was excellent, I hope Spider-Man 2 can capture some of what made that game so damn great And I can’t tell you how much I’d love a 2099 video game, ever since Shattered dimensions introduced me to the other Spider-Men He’s been my second favorite to Parker. Hopefully someday
I don't think the style of a Spiderman game like those of the Playstation Marvel series can ever rival, let alone top the combat system of Web of Shadows, and neither do I think any of all the other Spiderman games can. WOS's combat system was simply something else, and that's what made it so great and memorable.
Nice!! Wish they could have like a spiderverse mode in the next game where when you change suits, It makes the city, combat, and everything else adapt to what universe that spiderman is in that you're currently using. But I know that's to much to ask for right now! Maybe we'll get that in the future sometime.
The Spider Man PC Mod looked so dope. The low poly aesthetic was on point. The updated swinging and the complex fight animations surprisingly looked great. Honestly those could have existed at that time too.
Tasm 1 combat went HARDDDDDD i loved how after a certain amount of hits he starts to hit faster and harder and differently and if you hit someone it makes then i guess dizzy and you can web them up u can style on them while doing that man was it so good ive played it on the ps vita and it was still so good

i just recently beat spiderman 2000 since i never did when i had the game as a little kid, but man, it really made me feel nostalgic, and that first bit of the video was really nice to watch

The 2000 mod is literally a must have for me, I wanna play the game like that SO bad, love the missions where the ground is fogged or flooded and you can’t go down, gives off the same vibe
