It wasnt a bad recreation. I mean you didnt get it exactly right but its hard doing what a professional does. I love doing makeup, I even went to school for it and i still find it hard recreating looks that were done on me.

Your foundation should match your skin to the point you don't even need to drag it to your neck. You should start out in the center, t zone, chin, the cheeks and use less foundation as you get farther from the center of your face. i don't use any on my jawline, top of my forehead, and the overall edges of my face. You save product and it looks more natural. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Hahaha! Sometimes I wonder if Whitney is joking or serious. Nonetheless, this was an improvement. I believe the key to doing one's makeup is knowing your face structure. Once you know your face shape, eye shape, and bone structure it makes application much easier. Whitney was applying highlighter on the apples of her cheek, when it should be applied slightly above the cheekbone. That area differs from face-to-face. It's simple knowledge like that makes the difference, also using the proper brushes help too. You did good Whitney, practice makes perfect. ✨

not really sure if you meant your foundation didn't match your neck colour but if that's what you meant, you can just put some foundation on your neck as well to give yourself an even colour, my neck is also lighter than my face and I do that all the time if I really care or want to be extra.

@Nami namii I know how you feel, I chose to go with a foundation that matches my face and I just used the left over foundation to blend in with my neck and a bit of my chest just to make it a bit eve, I didn't apply a lot of excess foundation on the brush though. just a dab but I would suggest you ask a makeup artist in your area because they might be able to help you out a lot better than me and don't be afraid to experiment, you can also buy both foundations and try them out to see which colour you prefer, but if you do, i suggest that you wear the foundation the whole day so you can have a better idea of how it looks on you and play around with your makeup, test out different looks every once in a while, it can be quite fun. \( ^_^)/*\(^_^ )/

Nami namii it's also important to Know your undertone. Warm Neutral Cool You could have the right color but wrong undertone. It makes a big difference
