It's not just you feeling that Pinterest isn't hitting the same anymore. Let's talk about the enshittification of Pinterest! - way too many ads - search results are nothing but shopping links - results irrelevant to the keyword you searched - showing you the same pins over and over - bubbling your search results. For example if you've been pinning lots of thing related to knitting, when you search for "closet organization ideas" the results will be pins about knitting - so much A.I. garbage - showing you things you've already pinned over and over Y'all tell me what else frustrates you about Pinterest. I love complaining! Also share what you do to find creative inspo without getting trapped in the algorithm bubble ❤
OMG what pisses me off so bad is how if you save one pin to a board, your home feed becomes ONLY pictures of that same thing. And if you click on a pin unrelated to what you just saved, it STILL only shows you more pictures of the thing you saved before, not pictures relating to the picture you’re actually looking at!! (I hope this makes sense lol) Plus there’s so much lag on the app and so many glitches..
And there keywords began to become inaccurate it was not like that before. I feel the qualify of it’s performance has reduce dramatically the past year😞
The key to avoiding “Christmas-y” vibes in your red and green pairing is to make either the red or green muted/pastel-like you did here! Minty green with bright candy red or dark sage green with salmon pink is gorgeous and definitely underrated.

Red and green serving Christmas depends on the shade of green imo. Pastels green, khaki green and in the right context forest green with red (especially a burgundy) doesn’t look Christmas to me at all
All of the outfits are so cute!! I tend to get pretty much most of my fashion inspo from musicians and movies and TV but this seems like a good way to find ideas that are fresh!

my issue is that I never have all the items to make it look alike and that I'm a bit fuller so certain popular silhouettes don't look right or good. Still, looking at the vintage JP stores and your videos do give me inspiration for future thrifts and shopping !

I downloaded the app, how do I authenticate my account? I want to change my profile name which automatically made it my full name which I don't like, but it won't let me change anything until I authenticate my account. 🙁
I like your vids, but you need to post credit and a link to the original artist when you use someone's illustration. Ideally, you should have asked the artist for permission to repost their work. Xiaohongshu is probably similar to Pinterest in that it's full of stolen/uncredited art too.
ahh good point, i'm sorry i should have thought of that! i've just added a full list in the description box with everyones xiaohongshu id so people can easily copy and paste the artist on the app! from what i can tell it seems like the accounts are the originals and not repost accounts but it can be tricky because there's no translation option on the app
I love this app, but it makes me really want to buy a lot of stuff and over consume. I do not want to be influenced in that way anymore and just use why I have.
