I think this was a great attempt.the only thing. I think that's missing is a decrease in contrast to help flatten things out.

Thanks for your feedback! Definitely a fun challenge trying to dial in the look. I tend to enjoy a lot of contrast so it was tough to stray too far from that.

I'm deep diving into Blackmagic workflow these days and the color correction here was informative. The color Blue is missing from your production design and your background elements are one too many. A wee bit of After Effects could have really brought it home. The results are pretty good though considering Robert Yeoman and Adam Stockhausen were not involved!

I’m interested in understanding your node structure- it looks very complicated. Is this typical? It doesn’t look like this is maintained on a group level? Anyway, many questions, thanks and sub’d.

It’s based on a powergrade called CinePrint16. It looks more complicated than it is from a user perspective. I did a video about it and you can also read more here: www.tombolles.net/cineprint16 You are correct, I’m not grouping in this instance. That’s because I’m only modifying the one clip for this video. Thanks for checking out the video! Happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

great work but this look is absolutely out of joint in my opinion and Anderson is a f*ing 'poseur' ;-)
