I like the style and silhouette but neutral color palette, naa..that's a far stretch for me. Really enjoy the video tho, fun and interesting to see different styles
Even if the shape are super different and original in between outfit, i still feel like this style is boring. Might be the lack of color but it doesn't give me butterfly
i have to say im not a huge fan of the acubi style; the silhouette and aesthetic is nice but its lacking color for me. but that has always been the case for k-fashion so i shouldnt be surprised
yeah definitely a lot less colour than my usual style too!! i think that’s why i usually gravitate more to the kpop stage outfits rather than the typical kfashion
I think that’s part of what makes it so versatile too tho! I really like acubi but I have certain statement colours that work with most of my other clothes. I think a lot of wardrobe basics are missing cool details and silhouettes, but acubi does it perfectly. I see it more as a collection of elevated basics that stand out even without bold colours :)
Im the complete opposite. I lovee this style and have for years. I've never liked wearing color so maybe i'm just biased but i love the color palette. This is the only other style i'll wear outside of goth style, since that's have worn half my life, and is what i still wear 99% of the time
I love the acubi tops since they're eye candy despite being a bland color. Easy to pair with most things. I tend to just hover around witchy-esque styles or just jeans and a band t
oh it feels weird seeing you in neutral colors! but i love how the shapes matched and reusing clothing you already own to step on trends was a nice change! like with asymetrical stuff and using dresses as skirts
so cute!! i love the way you layer pieces in a way that seems so effortless, i feel like the textures and silhouettes you create distract from the fact it's not as colorful as you usually would wear. you're fr an inspiration
As a korean who spends a lot of time in Hongdae, this video is accurate af. It’s funny seeing this being called ‘acubi style’ though as I’ve never heard the term in Korean before. It’s just regular fashion here and if it had a name it would be ‘20’s instagram fashion’ or something like that. This was so fun to watch!
As a girlie who has fully entered the softer colors and comfy era of her life (age 31), I so appreciated this video. Trendy stylings that still keep me comfy and calm is a 👏🏻 from me any day. Thanks Katie! Love youuuuuu
my style is a mix of Acubi, kpop stage outfits and random xiaohongshu & pinterest trends. Ive been waiting for you to do a video like this with more Acubi but i know your personal style is much more colourful 😭
Urrgh, I've seen so many people in Uni running around with skirts or dresses over jeans. Even though I always love your outfits I still hate it with a passion. I don't know how someone came up with this trend.
I love how you styled everything!! And the editing?? U killed it as always!!! Even though most of the pieces are neutral and simple, your personal style shined through. I wanna go into my closet and recreate some looks now
I feel like clothes with a handmade quality are super in so I would totally recommend learning a skill like sewing or crochet, personally I love knitting 😄
Ahh this was such a great video to watch!! PLEASSSSEEE do a video about the fashion and hair inspo from the kid’s tv show Hi-5; particularly the USA version!!! ‼‼ Superrrrr cute and unique outfits and I would love to see how you get inspired by it, especially from the character named Jenn! 🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
LMAO your comment about the bolero fit cracked me up bc that really was a kpop dance practice ass outfit :'') Anyways what albums do i need to pull a katie photocard ...
Why is the background so different? 🤔 Love this video it's really interesting to see pictures of physical stores, it's easyer to see whats really trending ❤
I kinda love the second shorts look, I might try it out when the weather gets warmer! And also the dress over the skirt look is soooo cute! It falls perfectly ^^
i think that you dont like the outfit on 12:34 because the tube top should have been black though the outfit slayed i love the way you style all those pieces
im also an aussie that went to korea recently this year, so this was a fun video to watch!!! you're absolutely spot-on with most of the trends, i definitely noticed a lot of cargo, and like a simpler, muted Y2K aesthetic (acubi). and i totally was influenced not just by mannequins but the people walking around lmaoooo sorely tempted to creepily snap photos of some fits. do you have any good shopping areas to recommend? i didn't have a lot of time so really only hit up hongdae, myeongdeong, and co-ex, which were fine, but you mentioned busan so i'm just curious where else is good to go! :]
i freaking love acubi omg although i have to say i struggle w layering a lot since i live in singapore (and you know how awful the weather is since you mentioned it in the video 🥲) still, i really really enjoyed this video!! acubi is one of the styles i definitely try to incorporate elements of into my wardrobe - namely the asymmetrical cuts and tie details 💜
