Hi, it depends on the role and cerifications. For any bachelor's degree it would be 4 years, graduate and doctoral programs are another 2-8 years. Again it varies based on the specific degree you are interested in. I'm in a Undergraduate program now majoring in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Human Development and Family studies. I also an a CNA so I've worked in nursing homes and home health care. The specific field of providing care for older adults is called Geriatrics!
