The thing about recruit was 5 manning it with meme loadouts or such mixes between them that the enemy team wouldn't know what hit them. The rework makes the recruit pointless, just a way to "add" a new operator without actually having to work that much, They had to add some content, somehow, so the season wouldn't just be about the "membership"

Old-old recruit with classes was confusing, but it was the ultimate recruit with most flexibility in loadout.

Biggest change this season is being able to play all maps in Standard. Really cool change don't get me wrong, but it's pathetic that it's the best thing we're getting.

Playing with Friends increase the fun with everything, this is why I like Varsity and his friend's gameplay

what they shouldve done is let there be a 5 stack of recruits and made the gadgets be picked by one player at a time for balancing so for instance one person could have a hard breach also could of added shields bck for attack or just not changed recruit in the first place

*This rework added:* - 2 AI up-scaled models - 1 animation (Mozzie's reload is still unique) - The ability to change attachments - Scopes/Sights that don't get in the way (Looks like iron sights are bugged rn) *This rework removed:* - The old recruit model - 5 man recruit teams (RIP) - The ability to change weight/speed based on chosen CTU - The ability to change gun selection pool based on CTU - The ability to blame your poor aim on no attachment selection and shit scopes/sights

Honestly outside of the attacker not having a shield, I don't mind this update at all. The gadget selection and all around kit keeps the operator focused on being a utility/multitool type of character. It's not as wild and varied as the last iteration of the recruit, but having played this game since release, it almost feels like they've matured and actually have a purpose beyond just being the joke character.

I’m annoyed on how you can no longer have 5 recruits on the same team and all of them were different colors, we usually assigned the blue recruit as the leader.

what happens if there is a lobby of only new players and now since recruit can’t be picked more than once what operators do the other 4 players play? Edit: the players don’t have any ops

“Meh?” Sentry is the only defender that can wield 2 impact grenades and a nitro cell. He has the shotgun that use to be what the recruit rush strat uses. This explosive combination can defeat any shield operators in a 1v1. Striker? She is only as good as the players using her. Claymores, secondary shotgun, and frag grenades is a win for me.

what happens if a fresh new player with no ops joins and someone else picks recruit? Do they enforce tutorial for the free ops now? Or do they just get softlocked out the round?

So now, what happens if there is more than one person in a team that has no operator unlocked other than Recruit?

Dude WTF No way that Ubi is actually trying to sell us a worst version of recruit as a new op by saying, Hey Now, you can choose for skin and recruit’s only limited to one player each round, so…he’s a new op. Ubi is literally now at new low. They already destroyed my faith in them by copy-striking Varsity on that free-cam incident. But I think we can always trust them to find some more unexpected ways to f up everything to surprise us. If they can’t do that by making siege fun, I guess that’s the closest thing we can get as entertainment and surprise from them

I hope we can atleast get the og recruit models as cosmetics, those who played during the closed beta got the very first recruit model (from the rook op vid), and the base recruit from launch to Y9S1 should be for those who played for around that time period, and outbreak recruit for those who played and beat outbreak should get these for free if they are candidates for these factors.

They should of dome something where recruit can go up to another operator and like copy what they have and get a less efficient/ good version of someones gadget for instance if they go up to azami instead of getting 9 kunai they 3 and they take less damage to break but charge at a faster rate

I was thinking thatcher is really only used for his emps and still having utility but striker can having emps and a wider selection of utility, would there be any reason to use thatcher? Idk a ton about the game so maybe thatchers guns are just better

One Recruit per team is so, so weird. Like, isn't it supposed to be the op you have when you buy the most basic version of Siege? What if it's a bunch of noobs in the team? Like, I've had the game for five years now and have all ops, but did unlocking operators get ultra easy to the point of doing so without even playing a match?

Them removing OG recruit in the first place was their way of killing the last hope at fun in their game lol

rework has nothing special I get it they gave him 2 secondary gadgets but that should not be big of a deal while new recruit skin is already in the r6 mobile

So now you can customise recruit like any other operators, have alot of equipment choices and some guns. But now we have no chance too have any fun with friends if you wanna just goof, dont even have a special despite basically making recruit actually recruited to the team, and have too fight for recruit because now we cant all use recruit Why do ubisoft have to make all games have no opportunities for fun now
