Of course Calgary is not a big city, second line of city. Calgary has unemployment rate is keep going up, 8.1% in May. It is the second highest unemployment rate in Canada. Do not believe it. I life in Calgary. I heard a lot of professional being lay off. Plus a lot of new graduates cannot find a job in past 6 months.

Calgary is the city of roller coaster of job and housing market because it is still mainly rely on oil and gas. We have very hard time two years ago for 6 years. Now, it is boom again like the old time. It may be good time for two years and then down again . Every time it was happen in Calgary , ppl will say this time is different , then we will up so much and attract so much ppl and business, and down again . Ppl gave no choice and move out back to BC and Ontario. I do not believe this time is different as we are not that diverse on business and economy, not yet, still majority of Alberta GDP is come from oil.

No,,, you need at least 6 month work experience but if you go to rural city like lethbridge, medicine hat. You can apply pr after completing 2 year diploma.
