When a BIG LEAF® Cycling Canopy buyer from 4-years ago called and said he was going to be in the neighborhood (from Phoenix, AZ), I said, "Let's ride!" So we did....... the 11-mile loop road of Cades Cove, TN on a vehicle-free Wednesday. Only issue, bear-jams and jogger-jams.

Another Great video Ed. It looks like it is getting to be very popular there for bikes, trikes and walkers. Cindra and I always look forward to see your next video. Be safe out there.

Thanks Ron. I have plenty of material, just lack editing time! I'll try to get back on track.

When I saw all those people I thought you started singing, "Who Let The Dogs Out." Your State or area must have open things up since this C-19. Was hoping to see you and Paul. Enjoy your ride and hope to see more videos.

The vid certainly captured a mixed-bag of social grace. The bears have it down but we're still guessing!

Thanks, James. Sometimes I think I'd like to just do videos but reality sits in and the need to work for a living becomes a reality. Perhaps the many contrasts in my life add spice..........?

When can we expect your next video? Hope you are doing well? Winter is approaching here in Illinois and getting out on the bike is more tenuous than in warmer months.

Good question, Eric. Long story short, "When I'm feeling creative!" (soon I hope;). I am however positive; just added a bunch of music to the library. Thanks for stopping by.

Boy, that place gets "over-run". Still holding onto that hope of getting back there to ride with you Ed. It's quite a distance from Southern Utah to Pigeon Forge but would love to "hook up" with you sometime.

Thanks, Bob. I find that moderation helps preserve the excitement. I try to mix ride types so that Cades Cove maintains its entertainment value. Hasn't failed yet!

Do you ever have "issues" with bears other than the "bear jams"? We have driven through there, but I would love to take the trike.

Personally, no. But I have come upon some nerve racking moments like being about 25' from a Bear when climbing an uphill! I do carry a Mace 'gun' holstered near my right hand. It discharges a stream about 20'-25' as opposed to a fog that I'd find too short-distancing. We have them in the neighborhood here in Sevierville, so you do need to heed precautions like keeping food-stuff. well packaged. Also. always ride with somone slower!

Yes......; long overdue! Hope the business clients don't mind if I take a day or two off now and then? We'll see. Thanks for watching.

Nice day to trike the path. One or two suggestions, if you don't take offence. Prior to panning the camera left/right, lower your knee. Also, try to be a wee bit more judicious on whom you capture in your shots. Loved the fact that you caught the bear, but, unlike your the turkeys, you didn't zoom in. And your shots of the hills captures all too well why they're called the Smokies. Nice!

Thanks for stopping by; points well made. Captures are a real challenge because (1) my primary goal is to remain in control of forward movement which then (2) compromises the capture content. In nearly all instances I don't even know what was captured until the edit. To make matters worse, (3) the camera 'package'' is much too large for the area under the canopy. At 9" tall X 7" wide X 13" long it's a real 'wad'. and the sensitivity of the external mic picks up any contact; this of course inaudible during the shoot. My issues are (4) not at all helped by my old eyes. In all cases however, its the edit that determines viewer delight, and THAT is noticeably faulty. I appreciate your candor and help. Can fix!
