@@CnCDune Did Bethesda use that code to script the dragons in Skyrim and the Vertibirds in Fallout 4? Because it suddenly makes sense why the flier would deliberately crash land towards the player/mission objective/target on purpose.
Seems impressive. 1:46 with map-rules, any building can modified to generate shroud like a Gap Generator. :/ You know what this mission could've used? Re-enabling the ICBM crate.
@@shadyone6620 Allows player to fire a one-time nuke; any additional ICBM crates won't have any effect unless the one you currently have is launched. It reacts funny with the Nuke Missile Silo because the SW granted with the ICBM crate *is* the Nuke Silo's SW.
@@BulkySquirtle Definitely left-over from TibSun that was deactivated only via the rules INI, not the EXE. So mods and custom maps can re-enable them, among other crate boons. tg has two videos on crates, chk them.

I think you did as best as you could with such unfair designs But, I would have spammed rocketeers and paratroopers from the start to overcome the turret defense part. Elite IFVs was clever and effective though, could have done with even more 😂
If only you have prepare a lot of spies for entering barracks and war factory, that would help you a lot, and iirc if you get apocs from crates they'll promote one as well
thats exactly what i going to say. coz with MCV, you can do a bit rearranging the prism tower,as they are not working coordinatively. and 4 exit of the base instead of two may be? and super weapon even may be.~!
@@tg.Sacred This is what bugging me the whole video, that you kept glancing over the depot without capturing it. If it did gave mcv to build, it would had opened up new strategy gameplay. How about a redux to see how it goes?
23:31 this seems like a nice mission. 24:13 lol wait a sec. 51:45 damn that was hard as hell. 51:48 WHAT DO YOU MEAN " WARNING: ENEMY ARMOUR BATALLION DETECTED?!?!?" 56:40 Pls end now. 56:49 "Green, What Is Your Problem?" meme.
Yuri clone bugged and did not exit structure with caused Mr. President to get killed by shot down black hawk. This is what I dislike about hard missions. Stuff is so heavly modified that You can't trust your own game knowledge. Hat tip to You. Also finally mass barricading proved useful.
Wow, this really feels like the war is going on. Sort of :) Nice mission. So far i laughed like a dog on your comments, especially about mission being "disrespectful" 🤣 And yet it seems you haven't played Mental Omega campaigns yet. There's this is quite common thing, especially in last mission. And yet no time to rest as well :)
@@tg.Sacred in last missions - yes, kinda. Total war and overcoming from all sides. Earlier it's okay, of course. Overall it's kinda fun, plus difficulty settings usually makes big difference. Like if are not allied or soviet commander, you would not like to overcome, set it to easy or medium, and have fun. And so even if you're not planning to stream / record it, i highly recommend to take a look at some missions, and, probably, they will catch you. Or, surely, scare. This is fine if so will happen. Just in case, there's above 100 missions, all woven into one big story + covert operations, thus you'd have content for ages 🙂 And also i should say that i hadn't patience or even proper plan to complete some of them, as well as on whole campaing. But it's ok, since i'm generally multiplayer player. Exactly in MO i've realised that SP and MP are too different things, that good MP player can be quite weak in SP, while vise versa was obvious.
@@Vordikk I tried setting MO to Easy and it was still frustrating. I'm also told that "Easy" just means "Vanilla Hard" Then again I only tried the first Allied level and well, I built some troops, put them in buildings then the overwhelming enemy forces came in which y'know I guess is justifiable and it should feel like you're losing but honestly, on Easy there should at least be some Hope Spots. But no, I all I got was more enemy forces and the game telling me "Hey you can build base structures now! Also, here's some new units. We won't tell you what they do or where they are. So who knows if you have to build them or not!" I didn't wait it out to see if it was supposed to be like that because from past experiences, those sorts of mods expect the player to be at their A-game and know how to max out their APM, etc. so I was under the impression I was doing everything wrong from the get-go and the game expected me to win not survive long enough. The Challenge Campaigns under Skirmish were not any better, even on Easy. I set my allies to the hardest difficulty and they seemed to do worse than I did and I wasn't doing much... I was expecting at least some of that advanced AI that MO was using against me to be in my allies...
@@stylesrj oh, i jumped to this long answer like if it was from TG, even woke up and get back to PC🙃 I'm sorry for your PTSD, my friend. Don't take it serious :) Tbh it's fairly doable on easy even by it's basic meaning. Just there's no time to rest at all :) i know it looks frustrating at first. I had the same impression when get in very first time. Yes, it's clearly not cake-walk like in vanilla, and yet it's much easier than same missions on hard :) i remember how in 3.3.4 (iirc) most missions were made much easier on "easy" than they were before. Even more: "hard" aka "mental" usually means that you've already learned the mission (unless you like to struggle) Hmm. Are there any new units in A1 (allies-1)? Ah ye, Humvees, some Abramses and Aeroblazes. Yes, game lacks unit intermission. I won't judge if it's good or bad, because, honestly, units can be learned from manuals or simply via skirmish game or even in missions themselves. And it's ok if you haven't managed something from first try. > So who knows if you have to build them or not! Yes, you should. That's general answer. At least you should try experimenting with them. Like in classic game-learning order. Imo, You're doing wrong only one thing: taking everything too close to heart :) other than that approach is similar to what's TG doing in his playthroughs: learning mission, develooping and evolving strategy and plans. And, surely, don't fall asleep in the process. Like for A1 the plan is to simply deny Soviet base from being deployed / constructed as soon as possible and keep defending from garrisons. Mission is relatively short, invasion ends soon. Starting units and money are kinda enough to deal with it on easy and medium. Challenges are completely other story. Surprisingly, Superweapon challenge is the easiest of all, even tho it looks hardest at first look, like "wtf is going on" :)
@@Vordikk See, everyone assures me that the latest version is a lot less harsh on newer players or more casual gamers or that it's doable, then I give it another shot only to find that no, it's still the same as last time :D I can't even experiment in Skirmishes because Easy is Vanilla Brutal. Which is a shame because I'd like to see what everything does and maybe mess around on maps without having to worry about Navy SEALs, etc. sneaking in from my flanks or blackout planes flying over my radar. while I'm looking at a unit and going... "Is this Anti Infantry, anti air or anti tank?" But yeah, I'm wary of MO's MO based on other mods which expect everyone to bring out their A-game even on the first level. I didn't feel like I was going to be bailed out at the last second. I felt like I did in those grand strategy games where if you mess up at the beginning, you won't know it until much much later and thus you had wasted all that time and should have restarted earlier.
That (vanilla) mission was always my favorite as a kid. The ingenuity of design of these “rpg within rts” missions, where you only control one unit (“you”) as well as some utility, especially this mission, where you have to solve the puzzle; it’s just weird in a game as “macro” as this to have every single unit count and be important and as “micro” as possible! :)
I have just compleated this mission. I use spy to get veteran units. I use Rocketeer's to take down air defens and destroy all power plants in the top of the map. When the last power plant is destroy, all buildings in top top Base is with out power. If just 1 power planet is back the Base will have power. Then it was easy to destroy Prism towers and air defens.
this actually not hard at all , heres what i did , i upgraded my apocs with armor crate and place 3 of them in the most begining zig zane lane and place repairer ifv behind them , those apocs health stays up through all 10 mins , it can go on forever and my apocs would be fine . the main entrance or the north west is easily countered with rocketeer auto patrol , i basically afk , rocketeer also countered incoming jets attacks .
@@CnCDune yes And of course if it's not enough, you can make multiple of it from dummy units/buildings, which are simply removed via trigger when need. Just in this case i'm quite sure that this is Alamo. Plus it's indestructible at the first part and stays in the middle of map, so why not.
8:30 I'll take this time to get more promotions... no wait, I'll just spawn more tanks instead! Nah ha ha ha! 10:34 TANKS! SPAWN MORE TANKS! 10:40 I think at this rate you'll have enough tanks to crush even the Tigress like an insect...
You target wrong defens, don't bomb prism tower, but air defens.... It will reduce the damage done to air units... Then air defens is down kill the prism towers...
I tried it it kind of worked but the Patriots require more damage. If you are left without promoted Harriers then you won't be able to bring them down and you have to send Racketeers as well.
@@tg.Sacred Sorry... Did not know that... I was just thinking, it will reduce lose of air unit if air defens was remove... Have you try to compleat RA2 + YR with only War miner? I did it last weekend, except 1 mission where enemy have apokalyps tanks. (Start unit is ok for Base defens)
@@tg.Sacred The best part of doing War miner only. Money will not be a problem in the game. It is fun to attack with 25-30 war miner. However there is 1 mission where it is impossible to Win. Becurs of enemy using a lot of apokalyps tanks.
Man, all those non-stop enemy attacks with high numbers. Almost like a certain event in modern history that I can't remember what it was... I'm gonna say Roarke's Drift?
20:07 😂 sniper and pill box were on opposite sides, then the president gets captured... the sniper and pill box both switch sides simultaneously and still have to fight each other 🤣
@@tg.Sacred retarded enough that game counts not in-game time but real time. Thus playing on higher speed actually makes you finish mission faster and fit into par time.
