I love how the Soviets have there own Version of the Ending Scene from the Allied Campaign in RA2, but with President Dugan being held at gunpoint and everyone laughing at him.
When I was young, I found out that Yuri would keep building GI in that allied base with money from grinders. So, I captured war factory and refinery to get money and farm elite IFV with Boris. Once I thought I got enough, I killed the beacon and used elite IFV to kill off power asap, and the rest of the stuff with it. Oh man that was fun.
I always love capturing enemy construction yards with RA2/Yuri's Revenge campaign missions. and neutral tech structures. building a large base. combining all the units togheter.
@@MoondropSimulacra yes. this is why I would have kept this video for 30 minutes because after I capture Yuri's MCV, I would build a huge base with tank busters, gatling guns, towers, etc.
On my first play through of this mission, I nearly failed this mission due to the physic dominator, which was about to activate. But at the last minute, Boris's MiGs were able to destroy the physic dominator at the last second by firing their missiles and crashing into Yuri's super weapon.
So it comes full-circle then, the Allied initiated an airstrike at the San Fransisco Psychic Dominator and the Soviets initiated an airstrike at the London Psychic Dominator, the difference is the Soviets succeed where the Allieds failed.
Ah yes i love that level. My preferred strategy is to destroy the bridges, capture oil and refinery on my side, then fix and rush from the second from the left bridge with a flack track with boris to destroy the beacon and free as many allied forces as possible so I can keep the sniper, then like usual slowly attack the base. I usually attack it with a couple tanks only and the commandos + sniper. Pretty fun stuff. Capturing the base is also cool. Did you know, you can't build the Psychic Radar if it gets destroyed? it bugged me a little xD
Huh, good to see they had yet another Boris laying around. Maybe Boris isn't some unique person, but instead the Soviets just give an AK-47 and a laser pointer to someone whose name is Boris and call him a commando... There really isn't anything to say about this mission, the in-game dialogue is interesting because it isn't all that common in early CnC, but that's about it. No worries, the next mission will compensate quite well.
If you'd not killed the Navy SEAL and Sniper at the start, you'd get control of those two once you destroyed the Psychic Beacon. The Sniper especially is quite brutal if you put him in the elite IFV. The Tesla Tanks are ideal for destroying some of the Gatling Turrets at Yuri's base since they can shoot through walls without getting fired upon in return. It's a bit absurd how poorly defended the Psychic Dominator is, and the wall of Gatling Turrets are so useless. Even just sending Boris' airstrike it will more often than not get through.

I somehow finished this mission in 7 minutes. Might be because AI not so smart. The 1st part I put Boris in transport to to protect him, and use tiny path between building on the right to drop him off behind the psychic tower, and use air strike. Meanwhile I use all tank at the start to destroy anti air defence and distract enemy units and open way for air strike. The 2nd part destroy Psychic Dominator I only use Tanyar, Boris and a single IFV. It's only because AI sent most of it's force attack my base. While my 3 units squard shreding their base apart. AI in this game is strange.
If you killed Tanya and the GIs - she's the only one would reappear back after the cutscene If you didnt kill Tanya and her crew - they would just simply disappear after goiing to the imaginary tent, and everyone will appear in the same spot after the cutscene

I always try to kill Tanya twice by using multiple Crazy IFVs during the uncontrollable cutscene why? because all of your units will be stopped once the cutscene starts, but the radiation in the ground wont
When I first played this mission 15-20 years ago I had trouble beating the mission because of the dominator but somehow found a bug where super weapons become disabled after playing a skirmish game with the no superweapon option enabled.

I honestly believe why there are STILL few British viewers on this video and the channel who uploaded it without a doubt, as even when Britain and Russia bully with each other they still have in common as when they were against Germany during World War II, to which the Soviet Union declared victory against the latter two even when the holiday that honours it (Victory Day) turns out to be illegal in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and later Ukraine. Perhaps if Russia wouldn't be about Putin, then just as I hypothesise about Anglo-Russian relations, there are only a few people in Russia who likes British celebrities, athletes, musicians, fashion models and etc (especially both Britons and Russians have pale-skinned people as examined by Keira Knightley's role in the film adaptation of Anna Karenina).
WHY you kill sniper?! There not touch nobody and whait quietly when you'll take him in your army. As well seal. Not was necessary kill almost nobody! All this mission take victorios only Boris.🤦Breinless killer(
