This was a really well made campaign. Could've easily pass as official (with some good ol' FMVs). Looks like Yuri here learned from the soviet campaign and didn't want to directly eliminate the Commander, but sent him away on a mission and told him too late he couldn't return from there. Smart :) I still think the Yuri faction base voice could be feeded to a voice AI and let it read up the mission briefings, that'd make the missions even cooler.
@@ExcaliBurnGD The Cosmonaut clearly was designed as a Soviet union unit with stuff like "Russian space ace!" in the voice lines. So while Yuri had them in the Soviet Campaign... they didn't have to contend with voice line inconsistencies :D
Would be funny if there are text ( "good thinking" ) when you put units into grinder to generate more money other than oil derrick ( I guess it's not harvesting oil on there but it should do with minerals instead )
Really cool missions! Though I think the difficulty could be bumped up a little bit, psy towers and disks make literally every mission easy no matter what. I'd greatly increase the amount of anti-air the enemy has to counter the disk power cutting strategy, and the attacks could be harsher since yuri is op. Though now that you're stranded on the moon, what's the next step?
17:22 the bar time is long due to game speed, you spent 21 minutes in real life which would be doubled if you play on half speed since fast to faster is 2 times difference (from 30 FPS to 60 FPS), a 42 minutes seems a little more logical than 21 but indeed bar time is too long eitherway, I am sad that the A.I. had to be not much of a good player :/ This exact same campaign would be x10 more epic if the A.I. was better

Huh, when I played this mission there were no Kirovs or Tesla Troopers. Just Rhinos and Cosmonauts... Tesla Troopers when idle would remove their helmets and well airships require y'know... AIR! Then again we are talking about a level where you have Oil Derricks on the moon because I guess putting resource nodes is "unrealistic" especially since Yuri uses slave labour who don't have spacesuits... Why couldn't it be a captured ore refinery or the tech tree lets Yuri build Soviet refineries?
Cosmonauts would've made this game alot easy. But what would've been crazier is an American base there with only Rocketeers. Rocketeer vs Cosmonaut battle would've been interesting
By launching Genetic Mutator you can technically convert Brutes, which would result in gaining - well, just in any way no different Brutes, so that's basically pointless. 😄

It seems that Yuri doesn't want his best commander sharing his power. I guess the commander should have thrown Yuri into a grinder before he end the war on the Earth. 🤣
I'm curious if you build a mcv, and sell / force attack it to get an engineer, would that allow you to have soviet arsenal? funny if it goes full circle back to ra2 original tutorial mission easter eggs.
