Shooting a large bear out of a mortar named "Man Cannon" up in the air so that it can use a parachute to land safely in enemy territory is an absolute gem of an idea and mental image.
My favorite has to be the Natasha snipe on one guy on an aircraft carrier, which is usually manned by 100s of people. and so you can order your bear to enter it and seize full control.
@@doopsvitus Late reply, but according to the ingame files, The Aircraft Carrier is actually pretty much unmanned other than the captain, so yeah except for the bear part
I love how the engineer does more damage than a conscript, I once made an army of them wich confused my enemy leading to him making loads of anti infantry infantry expecting they were even weaker than conscripts, turns out he was wrong
@@pheeku6996 in terms of fighting yes, in terms of money not so much, also they got no molotov And I don't know how fast they attack, a conscript might have better dps but lower attack damage
@@AverageSCPFan you are not very well educated in Soviet history. The hammer and sickle is the symbol of communism, and is pretty much always associated with the Soviet Union. You don't get it mate
Terror drone is like the "don't let the bug bite" for the giga fortress. Once the giga fortress lands down, it simply is high vulnerable to these type of unkillable unit once on.
Why steal weapons when you already have powerful weapons yourself, plus the leech beam takes a looong time to actually damage, i would just use engineers
@@punless4873 1st you dont need to destroy the tank *by* the leech beam, you need it to still be leeching when the tank is destroyed 2nd what do u mean engineers? Hammer tanks dont steal weapons from structures
Actually, they did. Soviets had thousands of IS and KV tanks which then hammered German units. But Soviet tank personnel were not as skilled as Germans, therefore they couldn't fully exploit the potential of those powerful tanks.
what they have in place of the Allies' amphibious battleship is a torpedo battle sub which is arguably better than Empire's torpedo cruiser. their heavy bombardment ship is highly inaccurate though, unlike the other factions, but they make up with a strong anti-personel/anti-armor amphibious vehicle (tesla is high tier damage!) and an ambhibious anti-air transport
@@alamrasyidi4097 The japanese Naginata anti armor ship is better than the Akula sub as it will always fire first and even have a slightly better fire rate. The Akula has to emerge so that it can fire and even the ultra torpedoes that can be fired while underwater won't save it if the Naginata uses it's special ability in close quarters. Not even to mention the fact that the japanese can upgrade their navy with the Fortified Fleet protocol, making all their dedicated ships even more resistant.
@@aomaom168 I don't know for certain if Boris can swim or not, he kinda just refuses to swim in certain waters I guess. If you ask me, he probably thinks it's below him
If you set graphic setting to High-Ultra. It will beautiful like this. (But in multiplayer most people set graphic to LOW to prevent some unexpected lag.)
i think the conscript is a better standard infantry overall but next to imperial soldiers are alright, mostly i dont have to sacrifice infantry to clear a garrisoned structured iwth conscripts
It also doesn't matter if you have to sacrifice a conscript... though I think the conscript cost reduce upgrade need to be put up as one of the first upgrade because conscript aren't particularly good against other infantry.
@@kauske Trouble with Boris that he was screwed against Tanya and not swimming kinda screws him since he can't shoot and defend the transport where I think Natasha could shoot and summon migs from the water. Boris was a lot of fun too, though
And Tanya can't deal with gatling tanks, or the basic anti infantry turrets. Tanya is also discounted as any allied player can build cheaper SEALs they are just about as good, minus the suicidal C4 a tank option.
The reason Tesla Tanks weren't given an info dialogue because of which in my theoretical reason, they're Tesla Troopers but more heavily armored and they cannot be produced.
I really disliked the change about oıe system and as well as with ore collectors. this was a really nice balance in ra2 that the soviet collector is heavy slow but armed with a machine gun and can carry up to 1000 ore at once but chrono miner counter part is fast and teleporting but unarmed and can only carry 500 ore at once. This was pretty challengeful and also it was funny to watch war miners shoting at poor chrono miners while they r collecting from same place xD like: War miner: Get off from here little allied pony this ore is mine. Chrono miner: You have to do better than that fuzzy.
Punishing to the old style of turtling is actually nice...You can't just sit on a field and mine it all you want. And you only have funds issue if you can't manage your funds and not going out to contest those resource nodes...
Boris > Jarmen > Natasha Natasha can swim is just for the balance since every commando units in RA3 can swim and General doesnt have naval combat so this trait is nullified
3:10 that video is bulls@it! you have to wait until the sputnik transforms into an outpost BEFORE you can place buildings. this example's base must have had another MCV or crusher crane in order to build that whilst the sputnik was still converting.
Even after 10 years I am still too stupid for this game. I completed every command and conquer before, every Age of Empires and even Desperados. But this game drove me insane.
Uprising sucks cause it brings the Allies and the Empire counters to almost every Soviet heavy unit, but Soviets got nothing back. FOUR new Ally heavy units againist a fucking motorcycle and melee vehicle, are you kidding me?
*Ra2:* Isn't micromanagement hell. *Ra3:* aLl tHe SpEcIaL aBiLiTies! Ra3 was trash, they spent more money and time on cutscenes that actually making a decent game. Naw, just make it like starcraft, 'cause that's what sells, right? And now the entire franchise is dead.
Not me, I'd rather focus on the overall strategy, than trying to manage my units in each and every little skirmish by having to activate abilities and transformations. If I wanted starcraft, _I would play starcraft._
Actually, there are Tesla Tanks in RA3, but oficially they're only used twice during the soviet campaign, and cannot be created like other vehicles. A shame, if you ask me.
@@patricksouza2479 you can capture the premiers war factories in "the stone faced witnesses", those have Tesla tanks (the replace the hammer tank on the individual factories menu)
The apocalypse tank in this version just look like a piece of crap. The 2d apocalypse design in ra2 look way better than this...and can't attack air units... So if enemy send a bunch of air units it totally useless...
Is it really that hard to build a couple of bullfrogs or migs to support the apocalypse tanks? I hated apoc tanks in RA2 because they could deal with almost anything. It's good that they gave it some more weaknesses in RA3.
Against the armor and buildings in game wise, RA3 Apocalypse is slightly more effective than RA2's apocalypse. However I would prefer RA2 one. RA2 one looks more modern, realistic and sophisticated (well it has guided AA missiles).
Tesla tanks were not introduced as the main units in the campaign, they could not be built anywhere and were only available in the last mission about the USSR
terror drones in RA 3 somehow overpower to me, it instantly kills vehical not slowly kills in old version. Kirov ability not quite good, like suicide itself, wish they gain it an ability is to switch from dropping bomb to machine gun defense. I think he missing a unit - riding motorcycle and half machinegun half launching missile or something, don't remember
Half of the fun of the Red Alert series is the fact it's over-exagerated for what the times are supposed to be Reason why the first Red Alert isn't as popular as RA2. I mean dude, RA2 had the Prism Tank. That thing is straight up futuristic
"same units" wow! look at that huge double barreled tank that can crush almost anything under its treads! what's its japanese counterpart? a giant robot with laser eyes that can charge into either a crowd of tanks or buildings! yeah so similar lol.
Oh boy, the Allies have this cool freezy helicopter that looks like it's from the 2000s! Oh boy, the Soviets have this 1970s helicopter that shoots fireball thingys/rockets! Oh boy, the Japanese have this massive walker that can shoot missiles at planes or become a cool helicopter that shoots missiles at buildings! _Very_ similar indeed. (that was sarcasm)
Realism..................HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Also RA3 was NOT AT ALL about any sort of realism. It was FUN COOL and FLASHY...It is not meant to be serious in any capacity.
@@Catherine_772 No! That is a bad way to do thing. YOU DON'T HALF-ASS "REALISM" into things. Either go whole-hog and embrace the madness, or not at all.
