He said he served as bishop for thirteen years. We wondered how long he was bishop? Because we know we didn't hear of him under the administration of Bishop GE Patterson, Bishop David Owens, Bishop Louis Ford, or Bishop JO Patterson. We saw Sheard up on the platform in some of the earlier years. I can't understand how some of these people call themselves bishop when their house is not in order according to the bible. COGIC, apparently asleep spiritually and looks as though no one is on post. How can a bishop have a family who disdain the Holy Spirit in music, in attire, in lifestyle, and giving that which is Holy to the dogs because they have been in the church all of their life. When we look up on their platform, now hardly anyone is recognized. Used to get videos of cogic meetings over the years, and it was beautiful to see bishops, preachers, elders, evangelists, mothers, and saints still going strong in cogic. Loved the messages, the testimonials, and singing back then. The bible says, "God knows no one after the flesh only after the spirit." We, as the people of God, shall do the same.
