I'm not American so I don't know what hospitals really look like apart from tv but that hospital looks like a palace. It looks cooler than my university did.

And if someone had Cystic Fibrosis or Cancer like 2 of the patients in this show, they most likely wouldn't be able to leave their room due to health concerns or even have the energy to do half the things these people are doing in this show. Don't believe everything you see in tv. Being sick isn't as "fun" as they make it seem. And I'm not trying to hate on you for asking but I'm just mad because this show is nothing like real life and people are too quick to believe something they see in tv

Yes, It has 2 seasons and it's from Catalonia and called Pulseres Vermelles. There have been more than 3 adaptations of the original series, this one, a German one, an Italian one, etc.
The original show is called "pulseras rojas" and is a spanish show. This is the same story but in english and with a few changes. The original one is spanish and means red bands. You should watch it. Maybe you like it.
Nope, Pulseras rojas is only the dubbed version of the original, which is Polseres vermelles (Catalan) ;). But the actors are the same, so no new adaption like in Italy, Russia or Germany. Still I think the original is the best! :)
Red band society should not have been taken off the air, this was a great and enjoyable show to watch. Like it was so well liked by a lot of people, of course I will say it's a shame that they stop this. Really it is a shame. A good show like this should have continued. I still say it was uncalled for to be canceling the show like this. Shame on you
what is this? yo'll shoul watch the original one. Can't believe how much they have change it...it has just become another American tv series... the Catalan/Spanish original version was much more realistic, based on friendship and with the real struggles that these kids have to face everyday
The German one is definitely the best one, Albert Espinosa (its based on his books/ his life) was part of the production. The series has 3 seasons and a movie just came into the cinemas
Same... Was stoked & excited to see this title 'RBS' here, & briefly assumed I'd be able to see new episodes somewhere i wasn't already looking... Sadly mistaken, NO NEW RBSociety TO WATCH. Easily, one of the smartest shows on TV in a while, Spielberg juggled illness, disorders & social issues facing younger adults while entertaining us with young love; the developing relationships between the long-term residents of their youthful hospital floor ( a "temporary" home away from home ) as this pre-24yo group faces real life issues & lessons from the "poor [ poker ] hand that life has dealt each one of them". HANDS DOWN, RED BAND SOCIETY IS & WAS A GREAT PROGRAM FOR ALL AGES... LESSON-WORTHY for TEENS & PRE-TEENS alike. If nothing else, should continue making these to be shown in schools.
Maybe I missed something but I'm pretty confused in Germany there is a show with the name "Club der roten bänder"(what you can translate as "red band society" ) and it's almost the same, even the names of the characters are similar. So please fill me in if I missed something.

Si eres castellanohablante te recomiendo que te veas la serie original, la catalana llamada "Polseres Vermelles" esta en prime video y son 2 temporadas. Te recomiendo que te la veas en catalán con subtítulos porque se entiende más o menos fácil pero sino la puedes ver en castellano. Te la recomiendo más que esta porque es una copia bastante idéntica a la catalana, copiando nombres y enfermedades de los personajes y hasta las historias de ellos... Escuché que hasta hizo llorar a Spielberg y por eso quiso hacer esta serie. Si ves la catalana, te recomiendo que después veas la Alemana, que es una continuación básicamente de la original, y después la italiana que también es muy buena.

this show should’ve been on netflix. it would’ve been crazy successful. i would say they should bring it back and put it on there today... but this sensitive, perfectionist generation would probably try to “cancel” it for a million stupid little reason since this show deals with such sensitive topics.
Wait is this "Club der roten Bänder"?? Looks a lot less mature than the german version. The german version was more about the whole cancer and loss of loved ones aspect and I think this is gonna be more drama and immature highschool bullshit.
