Let me learn y’all this red bean gumbo but a way y’all have never seen it before!! Straight money dude! #bayou #cajun #cajuncooking #comfortfood #louisiana #foodyoutube #swamp #cajunfood #crawfish #gumbo
He is the MUST HANG OUT WITH guy during the annual "Family Vacation"! He seems to be the same kind of guy that everyone can spend time with for a light-hearted "temporary reprieve from reality", much like Robin Williams was while starring on, "Mork & Mindy". Same vibe from this great chap!! Please enshrine this guy! Have TV execs offer him a contract for a live, televised cooking show. You Yanks are bloody fortunate & blessed beyond belief to have a personality who's fun, exciting, passionate about his regions unique & beautiful contributions to (both) old AND New Traditional-AND-Twists Cajun cuisine. He is quite literally (IMHO) an American National Treasure, & seeing him at work sharing his love for the food-&-culture in his part of your country, but all of your people in the US, & around the world is heartwarming & incredible! Keep up the great work, Stalekracker! Au Revoir pour maintenant, Mon Ami, et Bon Chance avec votre endeavours!! (Much love & appreciation from Canada & the UK)
The first time I ever saw a Red Bean Gumbo was on Justin Wilson's Louisiana Cookin' circa 1985 - the recipe was called Red Bean Gumbo a la Buddy Whitley developed by Justins friend Buddy from Biloxi along the Mississippi river
I'd like to see how Cracka was looking about 30 minutes after the video was done...lol that Jager is like valium, I remember not knowing how I got home and what I even did the nights I drank it and my boy here did at least a half bottle.
My Vacherie cuzan probably had leftovers and combined them on a Tuesday to stretch a meal. Try some boudin out of the casing on a baked sweet potato. Quick leftover sweet and savory combination.
I still say he sounds like George Kennedy from Cool Hand Luke. One of the best movies ever. Gumbo looked fantastic SK keep it up sir! When are you going to open your restaurant ? Thanks
That’s what you call a goulash right there. Put red beans in everything. Gumbo, beef soup, jambalaya, pastalaya. Never seen someone purée the beans before they put them in. Always whole. But looks damn good bulldog!
He must have a huge family. Every pot of grub he makes I could eat on for a month, breakfast lunch and dinner! Hahahahahahah. Bachelor's life. Have to cut these recipies to 1/16th and it last me a week of lunches at work. Hahahahahahah
Definitely gon make red bean and egg gumbo!! Cornbread aint right tho unless you preheat that skillet with some earl or budda to get that crust dude!! Its what makes cornbread legit!!
