It's so difficult to find red on RU-vid... 1. searched Red....got Taylor Swift's red 2. searched red band...got red band trailers 3. got tired of failures...angry 4. my wifi failed me 5. searched red rock band....there we go...finalllly
if you search the artist's name followed by the album title, usually you have a pretty good chance of finding what you're looking for. I had a tough time finding all of Reds albums on here, but eventually with the right keywords I found the album playlists. for example, type "Red - Until we have Faces Album", and you should find a playlist with the entire Album.
Why are so many people saying that he sucks? If you actually listen to the whole thing, or actually just listen to his voice (omg shocking!!) you can hear the emotion and everything. His singing is great. *sigh*
And not to offend listeners of what you listed, but Red's music has very deep meaning. As you may know, many of their songs tell of their journey through religion (whether it's a struggle or whatnot). And for some people, religion is a huge and crucial part of their lives. So the emotion that Moves Like Jaeger was talking about has deep, meaningful roots.
+Damon Bottorff I missed them, I was buying the merchandise, however when I walked in and they were still playing there was like sparks and fire and I was like O_O
I’m a die hard metal fan and a very religious man. I love this band such a powerful message. For those who don’t know already it’s about him needing Christ because he is falling away from him everyday. Rock on 🤘
As a recovering alcoholic, this song brings me to tears. I remember the times I’d desperately pray and ask God to take my addiction away. It took years but it finally happened after I almost died from an intestinal infection. The very last drink I had was on the day I was admitted to the hospital. 3 years sober and I’m not looking back. Alcohol did nothing but cause physical illness and spiritual growth stunting. I thank you Jesus for having mercy on me and showing me that You are still with me even though I am a wretched sinner. 😢🙏
I used to listen to this before i became a Christian. Words fall short, i was crying out without knowing, begging for God to breathe into me, 7 years later, God has breathrd into what was once a carcass of a person, now Im alive in Him.
Wow. I wish that I could still discover good bands. I am just now finally putting together a youtube playlist of the bands that I used to always listen to. I, for the most part, stepped away from music for a long time.
@@justme-ij2qy i feel like there will be much more in store for us brother. Oh btw if you like metal you should check out Down by Love and Death its soooo good!
AFTER 13 years I finally found THE SONG. When I was a kid me and my sis had CD players with a Christian cd playlist. This was on the cd and was by far my favorite song. We then lost it and today marks the day I listened to this again after so long....
We are broken because we've been separated from God because of sin, Jesus is the answer atoning our sin on the cross that brings us back to God thru the Holy Spirit. You've always been loved.
This song perfectly encapsulates the feeling of losing faith. People telling you religion is fake and there is no hope for the universe. And it makes you feel like shit and want to give up. And you just fall to your knees and beg the Lord to breath his life into you
has anyone seen these guys live? I've been to a lot of concerts everyone from rage against the machines to a7f to Metallica I have never seen a show with as much raw energy as these. absolutely incredible performers
When I was a teenager listening this band with my brothers, my mom and older sisters and my church saw them as satanic because of how they looked. They didn't realize that growing up in a house where we were only allowed to listen to Christian music, bands like red, skillet, thousand foot krutch, and others were giving us life and challenging how we thought about God and life and pretty much everything
Judgemental persons much. They must not know of the law. Of our Constutional freedom from religious presiquition. And Cruel and unusual punishment. the death sentence that was from the psycho Christianity laws church ruling centuries ago. Separation of religion and government. Good thing that those we're made. And right to fair trial hearing.
I hope you're doing okay these days. Please be safe and know that people care about you, even if it may not feel like it at times. If you are feeling troubled, maybe professional help is the answer, or talking to a trusted friend about what you are going through. Wish you all the best.
I remember watching this on a DVD u got that had a bunch of Christian bands on it and I was 13 years old. Little did I know that I would be a metal head later on. Wow time flies
Saw them last night with Mammoth and Alter Bridge. Had never heard of Red, but they rocked it! Very impressed with them and will be listening to their music from now on. Well done!
The screaming parts literally remind me of being blind without Jesus and just doing insane things to fill the void in my soul with sex, drugs, people, etc. just things of this world, total chaos, total torture and pain until Jesus. Then that chorus hits, beautiful, he truly breathed fresh air full of life into my spirit. Thankyou Jesus. This song is tight lol
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 NKJV
Saw them in concert, met them and skillet back in some Christian rock concert in 2009. Got to shake their hands. We had no idea it was a Christian rock concert. I had JUST got back from Iraq. But, they killed the show. Really really great amazing show. Never forget it.
My son was probably about 8 and loved 3 Doors Down. I took him to a show, been so long I'd forgot about the idea of opening band. Red came out. Son started to have a melt down cause he thought we were in the wrong place. Try to explain the idea of opening act to an 8 year old while music is blaring. He is now 23 and singer for a band that has won regional awards. Best new band, best rock band, son won best frontman of the year, and he also won most supportive person in music scene. They opened for Saint Asonia which 3 Days Grace was the 2nd concert I took him to see.
This song helped me through a nightmare life.. first time I heard it on t.v. I was crying, broken down in my room. Then this song came on and it helped lift me up out of my depression enough to actually get out of bed. Might sound silly to some people. But I was in a VERY bad place mentally emotionally and physically. No it didn't " cure" me, but it brought a little light into my darkness at the moment
Even as an atheist, whenever I'm sick of overhearing my family's "political/philosophical" sewage in the other room, or recall friends and communities that canceled me, I listen to this (on headphones, obviously) to block them out, soothe the despair within, and burn off my anger, through the joy of art and music. 🥴
Me being Christian myself, this has exactly what I like. Good music, great lyrics, and especially ones with emotion. People don't look for the good in music. They hear a guitar riff and think "Oh this song sucks" even though they never heard the entirety of it.
Finding out that these guys are a Christian rock band hasn't affected my enjoyment of them. That's how it should be, it doesn't matter what kind of band they are, if they make good music, I'll listen to them.
Red isnt a christian rock band anymore. They said they are straying away from christian radio play and christian markets before they released of beauty and rage
Now I don’t like Christian music, but bands like Red that can hide it well enough to where I’d have never known in the first place (Skillet, Thousand Foot Crutch, Flyleaf) are amazing❤️
jamas escuche una musica asi y ademas cristiana es la mejor musica que escuche en mi vida "respira tu vida en mi, aun te nesesito" todos van a caer solo porque perdemos la fe en un momento en la vida pero siempre hay que seguir creyendo en jesus para ser salvados y no caer nunca buena la musica te ganaste un me gusta y un suscriptor :D never hear a music whether and also Christian is the best music you hear in my life "breathe your life in me, even I nesesito" all will fall just because we lose faith at a time in life but always keep believing in jesus to be saved, not the music never fall good you won one I like and a subscriber :D sorry my writing is that non-English speaking only basic English
I was 15 when this song came out and I absolutely loved it then.... I'm 32 now and still love this song just the same but, I was also today years old when I found out this band was a Christian rock group 🤯 Growing up I loved listening and still listing to Skillett, Thousands Foot Krutch, POD, Ect because for me as a teen it was God's music that felt rebellious but had that deeper meaning than conventional Christian music.
God is good more than good I'm alive today because of him I recived a T.B.I (traumatic brain injury) had to move in with my parents in arizona I'm grateful for them. I don't like arizona I miss having friends and it reminds me of Afghanistan people who could not be helped no matter what was done, I miss grass and trees things alive not just dirt and rock everywhere -_-, the part that stinks the most is P.T.S.D and T.B.I's feed off of each other so it's hard to find peace I'm a Christian and it's hard for me to except LT. Fersion who's kid was born while we were in Afghanistan lose his life but me who is single make it out... I understand no one is safe in those situations but it's hard for me to except it's sad I think about his son and daughter growing up without their dad I wish he could have been helped but I.E.D's are devastating if their stepped on
Christian Rock was "My Obsession" (Skillet reference") when I was middle school. Though I listened to Christian Hip-Hop and Christian Contemporary a lot.
...Make a joyful noise unto the Lord... No further definition given or required. Authenticity is all that matters and He knows... David writing his Psalms was the rock star of eleventh century B.C.
Been like 15 years or so when I first listened to this at my weekly Youthful Get together. That was such an amazing time in my life where all the teens would hang out, play video games, pool, and ki kick it before the Youth Pastor would take us across the street for a service. So proud that man showed me Red
Bald guys are great singers What they lack in hair, they make up for in singing ability. Disturbed, Evans Blue, Avenged Sevenfold, Light the Torch, RED
