Really not the result we wanted as a team but we gave it our best shot, I got clipped in a first turn crash moto 1 and had a long slog trying to get back in the mix, Unfortunately, i ran out of fuel in both races, the added mud and slop made it hard going on the bike, I already had a bigger tank on than normal. Such a shame to go out that way but sometimes it's just not meant to be.

Bloody fair play tommy to come back from literally covered in mud and bike all bent and then do it all again 40 min later I take my hats of to you all . 12 des nations is unreal to think 99 per cent of us mxers never get to experience representing team gb let alone 12 times . It is a bitter sweet result for the team but that is mx and that's why we love the sport. Gutted when Tommy went down on the start but hadn't realised he ran out of fuel as well. All the best riders in the world on the same day, on the same track so what isn't to be happy about.

Great racing Tommy. I was watching final race live and saw you 11 towards the end and then not on the final results and wondered what had happened. Sucks you ran out of fuel but the pace was there. Awesome stuff.
