What you mean without wood or do you mean a clear resin in wood . The last thing I done was a little one same size as this one similar with 3 small cookies in it I just put a short up with 2 up cycled ikea bases this biggest one I’ve done is a huge oak that’s on there that’s blue base and clear resin throughout and top coat . I’ve been really poorly with ill health lately so haven’t done much I’ve got a couple unfinished ones I gotta do and then I’m back to the big ones again 👍👍

I just added all the chemicals I use on my pieces. I should have added them anyway .there in the description…..The resin the polish and cutting compounds and the isopropyl alcohol what I use to wipe it clean of dust in between sanding and before I apply polish .hope this helped this is all I use 👍

You can put a really thin layer on first let it cure 24 hours ,next day quick sand wipe down damp cloth then do another coat,or the way you see me do it there just let it cure again next day if bubbles still there just dig them out sand and reapply next coat then you will get no bubbles on that next coat ,then sand it through the grits to 2000 grit then polish it .You can use a blow torch but it’s pointless because raw wood is a porous substance when you pour resin on it it pushes the air out from the wood causing the bubbles .i had to learn the hard way and make all these mistakes before I actually worked it all out as I’m self taught . Takes a while to find your style but you will get there if you doing resin pieces . I’m always here if you stuck 🙏🙌👍

3M perfect it fast cut plus green lid. And the polish is by McGuire’s but to be honest you only need the 3M as long as you sand your resin properly through the grits 80 to 2000 you won’t go wrong .anything else or advice you need I’ll always answer or reply Thanks for the support mate 👍🫶
