Looks great Dom, no need for a Christmas tree this year as you'll be able to simply use a large finger lime with all those lovely red baubles on the stems 😉

haha ... Yes indeed. Actually I rarely buy Christmas trees anyway. I don't mind spending over a hundred quid on a single rare fruit plant but refuse to buy a disposable plant to decorate my home for 12 days.

@@MoebiusUK haha I'm ashamed to say I have an artificial tree for exactly that reason 🤣

Thanks, VFG. It really works well as a container plant for a small garden. Low maintenance too. So glad I picked one up on holiday as they aren't available in the UK.

Another exciting, very productive tree. Are you leaving them outside this winter?

Thanks, Dani. Not sure how large these fruits will grow or even if they'll reach an edible size this year or next. It's a lovely plant to own none-the-less.

@Moebius, another cool variety of Finger Lime hybrid. You’re clearly doing something right for them to be producing fruit so well. Mine on the other hand put on a lot of growth, but didn’t hold any of its fruit 🙄

Cheers, Joe. Yeah, I'm a fan of these fingerlime and hybrids. Looking forward to visiting Italy next week to see what else I can find. I think part these fingerlime plants don't require much feeding as they are essentially bush plants. A light feed every now and again while fruiting is all they should need. Liquid seaweed is pretty good stuff also.

Really attractive and interesting fingerlime-hybrid. Is the rind at all edible (like it is on kumquat)? I'd love to get hold of some named grafted fingerlimes and hybrids. They are very interesting, ornamental and heavy-yielding citrus.

Cheers, Gary. No, the rind is inedible. (although I suppose it might be able to be candied or used in a marmalade) It's the vesicles we're after on this hybrid.

Wow, it's a very attractive little tree with all those fruits hanging on it, Dom! Great job with the one you grafted too, that looks incredibly healthy and great to see it flowering already!

Cheers, Peter. I do love this variety. I might even plant one at the allotment eventually and create a little Fingerlime grove.

Wow, amazing looking fingerlime hybrid Dominic AND another hardy citrus loaded with fruits. Really impressive.

Thanks, Mike. It's a really interesting citrus. The plant has a weeping form and seems to flower profusely and set fruit easily. I'm visiting some citrus nurseries in Italy next week so thought I should do a few update videos of my plants before I leave. 👍🏽
