Pro tip: use a sawsall to cut roots. Blades are dirt cheap and pretty effective. Chainsaw works well but blade takes a beating, pain to sharpen and cost as much as a 5 pack of sawsall blades.

I think the airbag should be mounted on the foam...like in front of the foam cover and not behind it. At least that's how I found them in my e46 and e60. When it explodes it should have nothing in front of it to do its job

Just a suggestion regarding the new roller carts for project parts, maybe mount a small whiteboard to each cart to write what car the parts are for and allows different people working on the same project to right a note regarding progress, missing parts, General notes etc…

On the E46 key FOB if you click the unlock button 3 times and hold it down on the 3rd one. All the windows will roll down all at once.

Carts are a great idea... I saw a really well organized koenigsegg workshop use similar carts with white boards attached for notes and lists.

Bro my e38 had all the windows working on it when I bought it like 4 years ago. It sat for 3 years. Blew the dust off and I've been driving it for almost a year. Rear windows now don't work at all. The passenger rear window won't roll up all the way. Just like an inch of space at the top and I have to push it the rest of the way. It makes that hellacious crunching noise when you try to roll it up. I've been putting it off for other maintenance items since im not rich. But at least my interior is still cherry and definitely not moldy. So I got that one down. My fitment is not Hella flush though I'd like it to be. But for sure I will fix the window regulator before I buy wheels and coil overs and get all flush. Lmao. That shit made me Crack up so hard. Your gf is tired of getting wet and your interior is all moldy but your Hella flush. That is fucked up. 🤣 priorities hahaha 😆

R34 with a secondhand average window reg. Been through that pain. Still not 100% but window goes up and down hahaha

If you have a problem shifting the zf transmission you should try to change the oil. redline shockproof dose not work great in the zf trans. couger gearbox oil works best fore me and now I can shift the zf trans fast and no issues.
