In this video we show you how we played Red Dead Redemption 2 as if it were a survival game, by self-imposing a few rules.

i've always played realistically with no hud what so ever even if i do a legendary bounty i don't use hud and free aim it and man the swamp bounty or wolfman are the best for that kind of play. Great Vid

Its sad beacause, different of the average survivel games that we can play, rdr2 brings the kind of immersion that other games cant bring when they have "animations" for almost all thing we do in game, example: if u skin an animal, you really do it. It doesnt appear sunddenly in your inventory; if you are hungry, you can physicaly eat; and much more. Tip: You need to activate the clock in your inventory to use it :)

Rockstar could straight make this a spin off style game ‘red dead survival’ or even a dlc like undead nightmare was! I wish they would go all in on a survival mode/game with rdr2’s mechanics it would be the best survival game out there

Rockstars biggest L is sleeping on ideas such as survival, undead nightmare, and just simple single player add on content. They could literally make Red dead redemption 2 the perfect game but they decided to milk gta5 10 years later 🤦‍♂️ biggest L goes to rockstar 🏆🙏🏼

I feel like all games should be like dayz, everytime a game locks an item behind an unnecessary level cap, or endlessly nerf or buff the same items over and over again and to “balance” them. I don’t think is fun, it’s nice to get an item and actually use it.

The pocket watch is usable, you have to manually access your satchel, equip it and then it becomes available in the item menu

I find it hard to really get into this game, yes its absolutely amazing but I cant get rid of the thought in the back of my head on how amazing the game COULD be if it was a real survival game with real punishment. This is what happens when games are made for console players

Auto aim off is a must. You can adjust controls to feel much more of a fps and not so clunky as well

RETRIBUTION !! But you don’t “need” them. The consequence for not eating or drinking them is so minimal it’s barely worth buying them. And when you die, you respawn with no change so why bother?
