Red Dead Redemption 2 A VERY simple way to guarma.

Thanks for this! I was able to return to Guarma doing it your way. I wanted to complete my animal compendium. When I quit the game yesterday while I was in Guarma and started again today I was back near Catfish Jackson. So that's another way to return to the original map. I'll go there one more time, because I still don't have all animals. Wondering if I'll meet Gavin's friend over there looking for him :)

If you hold the start button it will just bring up the map instead of tapping start to open the menu then tapping map

I'm just amazed at how much the world was worked on to some degree in all that expanse of normally unexplorable area. The vegetation and ground textures suggest someone built that area for possible future development by at least getting the base environmental things started.

This is the quickest and easiest way to Guarma indeed. THANK YOU. For how to return back to the main map - start any mission and then cancel it, and you're back. Someone mentioned it in the comments - just wanted to confirm it worked for me.

They fully rendered so much of the non playable areas I wonder how big this game was meant to be. They've had an opportunity to do major gameplay area updates and said fuck us in favor of bullshit GTA5 players.

I don't know why they didn't just have a ship in Blackwater that you could get on after the game is complete that takes you to Guarma. There's animals that are only found there, which means that you wouldn't be able to 100% this game without going back.

There's donkeys on the island you can ride! Just found this out lol. Its by a bunch of small huts in the red circle And if the guards spot you in the city the invisible snipers get you even tho they were clearly disabled when you first get there😭😂 I love how this method cuts the time in half. Way faster than the other ways Edit: you can get the donkey with the invisible snipers its just a little difficult but it gives you enough time to get back in the playable area. Now they fire "warning shots" before delivering that final blow...

So, the horse almost drowns and John drinks until he almost dies. This is a regular Tuesday night with Arthur. 😂

You can get to guarma with Arthur long before he goes their in story mode and John can use his own horse all the way to Guarma if you want. drunk glitch with Arthur but you dont have to with john, and no cheats need to be used.John getting to Guarma can be done with the controller glitch method as well as the drunk glitch method.

Now I know why it takes 115GB storage

For everyone asking how to get back, I just replayed a mission and then aborted it once it started.

I had to get back here for animals cause… apparently there was a glitch that if I started the main missions with Dutch and quit, the whole place won’t spawn animals. I didn’t remember that if we started the missions, there’s no turning back. Anyways.. many manual saves and reloading after, many hours later, trying to spawn animals….. that’s when I found out about this glitch. At that moment I was like “welp! Looks like I’ll have to glitch back here later then! Shit!!”

Instructions unclear: I fell down to Mexico and now Dutch is trying to strangle me with a poncho whole Micah is riding him like a horse

Is a shame that there were no dlc to this game considering the size of the map alone yet after like a 5th run I still missed alot of shit.

Nice. I've been wanting to explore those sugar cane fields, but keep getting shot. Is the invisible sniper there? And how does dying work if you attack one of the villagers? Do you respawn at camp?

That was some cocaine trip!

Here's the thing. There's a better way to get to Guarma, which is getting there as Arthur before Chapter 5. 1. Buy as much alcohol as you can carry, because you're going to have to use it to pass out. 2. Also buy/craft/cook Health, Stamina and Dead Eye tonics, seasoned Big Game Meat (the ones which give you golden Health, Stamina and Dead Eye cores), lots of arrows and Repeater ammo. 3. Once you're done, go to "The Hidden Tunnel", located northwest of Mount Shann and west of Hanging Dog Ranch in Big Valley, West Elizabeth, the cave where there's a Hermit who says he's the Devil. Don't forget to take your bow and your Repeater with you. Once you get there, there are 2 paths you can follow after you cross the bridge. One leads to the Hermit and the other leads to an abyss. Take the abyss one, but don't kill Arthur (get a lantern). 4. Once you get to the edge of the abyss, MAKE A MANUAL SAVE POINT. Then, start drinking liquor until Arthur passes out. He'll wake up above the cave and outside the map. 4. Next step is to find a horse and break it. Don't worry, animals outside the map are glitched, so they won't run from you. 5. From now on, the goal is to ride until you reach the spring of San Luis River, always heading Southwest. Remember to stay away of the map border, or the invisible snipers will start to shoot you. 6. Once you get there, the idea is to go passing behind the mountains on the coast until you're aligned with the Manteca Falls, but still within Mexico. Just keep riding East, always checking your map AND radar screen. Every time you notice a blue/dark area on your radar screen, open your map screen. 7. Soon you'll be getting to Guarma with no red zones. 8. WARNING: Everytime you see a blurred surface on the ground, this means you'll fall to your death if you walk or ride over it. 9. Once you get to Guarma, MAKE ANOTHER MANUAL SAVE POINT. This is just in case you enter a fight with the soldiers and this activates the invisible snipers. If this happens, just reload the save. 10. In case you lost your horse, there are two donkeys near the first "A" on AGUAS DULCES. 11. There are 10 animals you must hunt in Guarma: - Blue and Yellow Macaw - Great Green Macaw - Scarlet Macaw - Red-footed Booby (always flying) - Fer-De-Lance Snake - Rainbow Boa Snake - Red Boa Snake - Sunglow Boa Snake - Green Iguana (also available on the island to the West of Clemens Point). - Cuban Land Crab (also available on the island to the West of Clemens Point). Save the game after you have killed and skinned/plucked each animal. 12. To go back, ride your donkey heading North, always following the Right border of Guarma map. You'll end up on the riverbank of Lannaheche River. Just look for a boat and row until you reach the other side (on my case, it was the docks of Saint Denis). Good luck.

I wonder why there is so much detail in the uncharted part of this. Was it gonna be used as dlc or something? Usually developers just have flat landscapes that deceptively appear in depth

I know this will never happen but rockstar should make red dead 3 both red dead redemption 1 and 2 combined leading into the events of Jack’s story where he could establish a gang of sorts and be the true last bastion of a lawless gang in the Wild West

I was wondering if I went too quickly and didn't study all the animals or look everywhere. I did it all at once because it seemed like when I saved after the quests. The quest name saved was still the one before ending up there. So I thought you couldn't save there at that part.

Pointless glitch because there's no way to escape Guarma unless you load an earlier save, meaning you can't go there to collect animals unless thery're the only ones you have left and you never want to go anywhere else in the game again.
