@@Journey_to_who_knows because there's absolutely nothing suspicious about a man standing in the middle of nowhere twirling loaded handguns while not showing any emotion whatsoever.
The regular & reverse spins are simply the best. The Spin Ups look silly, Alternating Flips & Figure 8 Toss looks awkward, & the Shoulder Toss only applies to the right sidearm...
Imagine rockstar gave a new update which we can shooting while it spins,and the bullet could go anywhere and make innocent npc get killed and you get a bounty.this will be fun
Gun store owner: Sir please put the guns down Me: 12 shots *violently spins wheelguns* this time i got 12 shots, *beret falls off* more than enough to kill anything that moves *smashes display case, alarm goes off*
So nobody's talking about how he's spinning a loaded gun, that was known for it's hair trigger so much so that people carried it with the hammer uncocked and with an empty chamber?
If it helps, during the spins if you look at the revolvers closely, you can see the hammers aren't cocked. The hammers need to be cocked to be able to pull the trigger and fire a round. As long as he doesn't bump the hammers hard enough, he is ,relatively, safe.
i s Hit the hammer of an original period revolver hard enough and it’ll fire due to the firing pin usually resting directly on the primer while uncocked (hence the ‘load 5 instead of 6’ mantra of the day) as hammer-block safeties were more coming after the 1900s.
You have to cock each weapon as you first fire it, not when you draw it, which can be quite frustrating, even the double action for some reason..but automatic weapons will immediately fire so what’s the point of putting half your weapons in safe
@@jimmike8029 you can do only one trick in story mode by pressing the right bumper RB (I don’t know the one for play station) and it’ll make Arthur or John do a gun trick, however there’s more in online mode
I’m glad someone else understands the beauty of the Cattleman/Navy revolver combo. A nice, low-power revolver in the right holster for non-lethal hits on bounty targets, and the sheer stopping power of the navy for when skulls need to be cracked
The only thing that bothers me is that it's backwards from real life. The navy pistols were .36 caliber black powder muzzleloading revolvers. They took forever to reload, they fouled up quickly and they were not very powerful. Contrast to the cattlemen (1873 single action army). This was a .45 caliber cartridge (the traditional bullets we see today, with a brass casing, powder, ignition primer and a lead slug). The SAA would have been considerably more powerful than a .36 navy back in those days. The navy's had been around for 20+ years before the 1873 "cattleman" came out. Even with the original black powder loading of the 45 Colt cartridge, it was still a lot more powerful than the .36 navy. These days, we use smokeless powder and it's much hotter. Faster bullets and wayyy more power. From most accounts, the Colt company (the manufacturer of each of these pistols) went to smokeless powder around 1896. So if the game is 1899, we can assume that Arthur could possibly have been using smokeless 45 long Colt ammo, which would make the cattleman twice as powerful as the navy. And even if he used black powder it would have been the more powerful pistol.
I think this guy might want to have his weapons looked at by a gunsmith. Revolvers aren't supposed to make that much noise unless there's a loose/broken part.
From someone that actually spins guns the sound is most likely an exaggeration of what the trigger sounds like. It does click around when you spin it. That or he’s hitting any of the moving parts with his fingers, if anything probably the loading gate
@AlCeeProd2.0 you got that right, red dead 2 has been out for sometime and they gave us only the Lemat revolver, high power gun, Evan's repeater, and the tedious Williams mission's and that's it, THAT IS IT!!! And this is the thanks that singleplayer gets when it won 10's, 9's, a few awards and everyone's heart's, it gets thrown under the car's tires and run over by the wheels of GreedStar, and they are gonna keep doing it cause they really don't give a damn about singleplayer and us singleplayers, and you got freaking famous red dead RU-vidrs that are too busy both praising and hating RDO when they should be doing is helping the shit outta singleplayer but nope, red online is getting aaaalllll the good stuff while SP gets nothing and still can't cheat at poker man, promises after promises and GreedStar breaks them, and they are gonna keep pushing multiplayer cause they are Greedstar, it's all about the Benjamin's.......FUCK GREEDSTAR.
"You see that in the movies? That's an automatic, don't try to dampen the recoil. You do that with a revolver. We Diamond Dogs, are now a force to be reckoned with. We've got the world's attention. We're not some tribal militia. You will learn, how a real soldier fights. You will forget, everything Hollywood taught you. And if I catch you doing something else, you'll know it. Engravings, give you no tactical advantage whatsover. But that was some fancy shooting. Pretty good..." "You ejected the first bullet by hand, didn't you? I see what you're trying to do, but testing a new technique you've only heard about in the middle of battle wasn't very smart. You were asking to have your gun to jam on you. Besides, I don't think you're cut out for an automatic in the first place. You tend to twist your elbow out a little to absorb the recoil. That's more of a revolver technique. But that was some fancy shooting. Pretty good..." "I see you've got yourself a Single Action Army." "You call that an accident? Well, it wouldn't have happened if you hadn't been showing off." "It's a nice gun I'll give you that. But the engravings give you no tactical advantage whatsover. Unless you were planning on auctioning it off as a collector's item. And you're forgetting one very basic thing. You don't have what it takes to kill me..."
Rockstar reeeeeaaaly should add all the gun tricks, horses, clothing, bounties, and weapons in single player....or put it all into bundle and you would have to buy it with real money.
It's mainly just momentum and muscle memory. And yes it is dangerous, especially with a double action since you don't need to cock the hammer back for it to fire.
We need new features for single player like the ones online has, New clothes, New guns, Items and consumables perhaps, Add some new side missions as well, A DLC is what the single player kinda needs that’s placed somewhere in the end of the story or the middle of yhe story around chapter 2 or 3, Also hoping for rockstar to add a new game plus feature so you can start the story mode all over again with all your gear and equipment prepared and ready for you to use. ... But then again, This is rockstar we talkin bout here ; - ;
I must have spent hundreds of hours on this game. And it was only last week that discovered you can do tricks with the revolvers, and it was an accident. I accidentally double tapped LB to holster the gun and it did that animation. I thought my brain malfunctioned (as it does) until I did it again. It's been 2 years and I'm still discovering things in this game. And that's freaking phenomenal. This game just keeps reinforcing my opinion that this is one of the BEST games of all time, definitely in the top 10.
