Red Dead Redemption 2 - Meeting Incest Hillbillies & Getting Poisoned (Secret Boss Fight) 

It's hard to maintain the seriousness when your character looks like he was raised by wolves in alaska

I just want to mention that before I had the encounter with the Hillbillies I actually had a random encounter with a stranger at a campsite. He was telling me about that he always trusts his gut feeling and he trusted in me that I wouldn't hurt him. But then he said: "But the other day I was traveling, I came across this barn with a very friendly man and woman, asking me to stay over and have dinner with them. Well something in my gut just didn't feel right and I moved along. The next day I came into town and people told me to stay away from that place, because they were bad people." So when I actually encountered this "very friendly man and woman" I was absolutely astounded. That an NPC can refer to such an encounter. This game is amazing! Edit: I wanna let people know that I did not mean that this feature is new to games and revolutionary or anything, I just wanted to praise this game on this feature by the way that they execute it. Because to me, and this is my personal and humble opinion, I have not seen this in the games that I have played in my lifetime or it wasn't as memorable as this. To me it isn't groundbreaking nor revolutionary, I have never said that and didn't intend to. It's just a feature that I enjoy a lot and where I can actually see that Rockstar puts effort into their games which I can appreciate a lot. So hopefully that clears things up! G'day y'all

They’re so nice until, you realize they’re from Alabama

I had a peculiar experience with this side story. Got drunk with the siblings and passed out/woke up in the corpse dumping spot as usual. But because my bounty is so high, I was ambushed by bounty hunters while making my way back inside the sibling’s house. After killing the bounty hunters (who had eerily surrounded me while I was inside the house, with dogs scratching and barking at the door) I got the money from behind Momma’s painting, but never saw the siblings in the house again. Carried on with a couple main story quests, slept for a few days then made my way back to the house planning to kill them... only to find the house was empty. Everything was gone. They’re still out there in my file, and I think because my high bounty/low honor triggered the hunters to come during the side story, it caused the siblings to stay away while I looted their house. Spooky imagining them moving everything out before I got back in time to kill them, and now I wonder if I’ll run into them in another location! The attention to detail is mind boggling. *EDIT* I believe this is also what would happen if you were to flee the sibling’s attack and leave the house, without killing them, after getting your money back. *EDIT 2* Bill just approached me (Arthur) at camp and said he met a couple of “strange pig farmers” who knew Arthur and said it sounded like I had a “fun time” with them.

The real unsettling thing was the behaviour of the player, not the game scene

Before I knew who these people were I ended up at their house and they invited me in. Instead of sitting down with ole tubs I shot him in the head while his sister was upstairs. When she came down I lassoed her and burnt her alive in the back. Then I looted the house since it was a homestead after all.

I came across this house but as soon as the guy said "don't be shy" I free ran up the stairs stabbed him In the gut 9 times like a boss then kicked down the door. Without missing a step I tomahawked chopped the women's head off before she could turn around.... Then I saw they had liquor so obviously I guzzled half the bottle.... Woke up 28 hours later with a massive headache so I guzzled the other half..... Woke up 5 hours later feeling great.... Looted everyone and was on my way, then I came across a pit of mutilated bodies. That's when I realized that nice couple wasn't a church going husband and wife but creeps who kill people. Moral of the story..... Stab first and ask questions later..
