I’m more of a Sony fan but this just makes me want to get Series X again just for it looking better on Series X. It looks different on RU-vid compared to your own TV. I’ve been on both sides to know which side looks better looking.
When i bought this for PS5 i was blown away by how good the SX ran this game at a locked 30fps 4k native, still looks good on PS4 Pro code but the 1X was a beast for it's day.
@@97carrera when I had my 1X I swapped out the hdd for an SSD, wasn't near as fast as the new consoles but it at least halved the loading, worth a go if you still got yours mate, what you playing atm?

do not buy this game u will not have 4k native on ps5 it will be 1440p and 30 fps locked cuz if the game was upgraded with better graphics for ps5 version it will be 4k resolution and you can switch 60 fps prefromance i think they will make this game later this year for ps5
I still have this game disc even though my slim 4 Slim was sold 3 years ago. and I'm saving to buy a ps 5 slim disc version so i can play this game again in the future, because this is my favorite game and hope this game gets an update so it can be 60 fps !!
I have this on PS5 and SeriesX, it definitely looks a lot better on SeriesX. You can really notice it with the trees and foliage, well pretty much everywhere
there's two modes on ps5 more FPS or better picture quality, the ps5 can handle 4k at 120fps and 60, it's how developers optimize the games on the consoles, this is not a sony game it's not taking advantage of the ps5, it's taking more advantage on the Xbox....... Now the ps5Pro it's the biggest leap in history
@@userFYTEfigs there is no two modes in this game on PS5. It’s just the PS4 Pro version locked at 30fps. I would love it to get an update especially if it raised the frame rate.
And they neglected it big time after release. It barely received a few patches but some annoying bugs still persist, the loadout thing was never fixed, ofc no current gen patch, not even a DLC. They didn't care about this game at all, it was a dead weight for Rockstar, they'll tell you "all our efforts were directed towards GTA 6" but on the side they milked the shit out of GTA 5. I really despise how they treated this gem.

No it doesn't, since a few months ago they added real Native 1440p. It's not upscaled anymore we actually have 1440p now. I'm currently testing the quality difference of upscaled 2160p VS native 1440p. 1440p now looks way better then 1080p. Only thing we need is a 60fps update on PS5 that will be so good for the game.
@@Slimebal_7They fixed something related to the upscaling, but the resolution wasn't fixed, the pixels are not well synchronized, I think It's 1920x2160, I've played games at native 4k and I can tell you this game looks bad on a big 4k display, the PS4 reproduces a better image in a 1080p display
@GeoAlex1 it's upscaled 4k on the PS5 and I've seen it and looks good, not native but good, not sure about the series x as I haven't seen it myself so I'm not gonna take someone else's word for it, and how you're comparing fat ps4 to the ps5 on performs is just plain silly lol

Realistically both consoles should be running the game at 4k native with 60fps but rockstar doesn’t want to put an update so this is honestly just comparing last gen’s consoles settings
I’ve played the 2021 Xbox One X patch, the NEWEST One X patch, and the PS4 and PS5 1.00 versions. My One X can hang with the PS5 for sure, but even with new and higher quality thermal paste than the factory that’s one of the only games where the fan comes up and NOWHERE near as bad as it used to be but it’s audible for sure! On top of that, John’s epilogue model on newer patches is completely messed up, a bunch of decent glitches are patched and on Xbox you can’t transfer the saves to a USB for safekeeping or modding on a PC. 1.00 has the ORIGINAL Brontë glitch that lets Arthur explore NA without a buggy or in total darkness with the NEW Brontë glitch, the Saint Denis house horse stable glitch gave me my best horses, and epilogue John’s model looks absolutely FANTASTIC compared to the later patches on both PlayStation and Xbox. I have a Series X sitting around waiting to be used, the One X and PS5 are perfectly integrated into my setup. Based on all advantages, 1.00 on the PS5 is the DEFINITIVE way to play the game on console, I’ve beaten and glitched both versions beyond belief, minus no way to access saves on Xbox I’d say Series X 1.00 would be KING in terms of visuals and play experience, I’ve always had trouble installing that version on Xbox though versus the PS4 & 5s simple offline installation 🥲
Why is PS5 resolution 1440p while XBOX sx 2160p?? Trying to compare it like that? My ps5 runs rdr2 in 2160p. Rdr2 is based on 4k why it was meant for ps4 pro to handle the graphics. Dude a ps5 hater.
Bro just get a PC. I went from PS2, to Xbox 360, then to PS4 Pro and now on Series X. Tbh these modern day consoles are underwhelming as heck. Very disappointing. Can't even do 4K at 60 fps without compromises, its a joke. I'm saving for a PC.

The reason is that Xbox Series X version is based on previous Xbox One X version which runs on Native 4K resolution. On the other hand, PS5 version is based on previous PS4 Pro version which runs that game in 1440p resolution. It is sad!!

that was for the rdr1 port, everyone complained about how they rereleased that game without implementing a proper 60fps mode for new gen consoles since the game is 10+ years old
@Greymatter-to3th the update mostly affected the pc version, they got hdr10 and fsr 2.2 support, other than that the update was just bug fixes unfortunately

Because there are no any visual upgrades after the original version, so basically this video shows the difference of ps4 pro and Xbox one x. I can assure you that Xbox version looks a lot better, noticeable in my opinion.

Console games have a fixed resolution. On ps4 it is 1920x1080p. So on PS5 it runs as 1920x2160p. The game has not received any update, so the 1440p description is misleading to the viewer. PS5 1920x2160p XSX 3840x2160p
Idk what this comparison is for because there was never a next gen update for these games so your running the old gen versions which is why the ps5 is a lower quality then xbox. The xbox 1 x was better then the ps4 and the ps4 pro in terms of graphics but the ps5 and series x. Basically the same

It's not 1440p bruh it's checkerboard 4k and it's quiet wierd implementation as it is locked at 1920 x 2160p , it upscales along only one axis, reason it looks so blurry on bigger 4k displays, in ps4/PS4 pro/ps5, it plays best in 1080p , looks sharp enough and definitely more stable fps than xbox version

Seems the Xbox series x is better. Sometimes ps5 looked sharper. Sometimes xsx looked sharper. But I noticed there was always something more going on in the background on the xsx.
first of all this game is not updated for the ps5 nor upgraded, on the Xbox it is better because it’s in series X vs ps4Pro…..second of all ps5 can reach 4k at 60 and 120fps, better ray tracing on ps5 when you have the correct monitor and game.

I don’t know where do you get that the PlayStation version runs at 1440p which is wrong, the game was covered and then confirmed to run at 1920x2160p with checkerboard rendering to 3840x2160p hence why the PlayStation version looks blurry in comparison to the Xbox version.
@@Bad_Company225 in real life comparison it is blurry next to the Xbox one x version, the Xbox version looks noticeably cleaner and with more detail because it’s running in native 4k (3840x2160p) whereas the PS pro version runs at 1920x2160p with checkerboard rendering to achieve an upscaled (if you will) 4k resolution, which leads to a blurry image in comparison to the Xbox one x version.

@@Bad_Company225 like a said before “in comparison” looks blurry or softer if you will, this was a fact that was talked and confirmed when the game came out back in 2018 and I had the opportunity to see it for my self when I had and played both versions of the game, I’m not saying by any means that the ps4 pro version is garbage or anything I enjoyed my time playin this masterpiece twice, im just tryin to clarify the misinformation the video is stating with the resolution that’s all. Games will look the same as last gen, until its remastered, a d games wont look better just cause the consoles🤣 they dont determain how the game settings are, or change anything
